«I have stayed here several times for solo work trips and brought my husband along with me this time around. Everything was just as perfect as always and he was as blown away with the accommodations as I was the first time I stayed. We stayed in Bear Den and it could not have been more quiet, serene and comfortable. And the views are spectacular! Especially enjoyed grilling out a couple of nights to break up the cycle of eating out when traveling. Can't recommend this place enough! »

«Nice hotel. Not far from downtown area for some small souvenir shopping. One minor thing . Breakfast buffet. juice and coffees should be at the buffet as well and not have to call out for a waiter to being served. »

«The rooms and lobby were very nice but they didn’t have rooms ready for me reservation and the elevator went out while we were there and we had to carry heavy bags down the stairs!»

«This was an over-night stay to conduct some business in Anchorage. As always we travel together, the Wingate is an older place showing its age, but the rooms were clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The shuttle service was great as many of the local hotels no longer provide this service, it makes Wingate a go to for those without wheels. All in all I would stay again, although it's not my first choice when in Anchorage. »
