«Had a short stay at Mouton Plantation. Interesting place with lots of history and character. We had a spacious apartment perfect for a family of four.

«Check-in was easy, the caretaker was right there to hand over the key, and gave us a brief history of the plantation, which has been around since the 1820s!
The air conditioning worked very well and that's a blessing since we visited in August.
Husband and I explored and walked the property more than once, trying to imagine it in its different eras.
My only issue was the breakfast sandwich in the freezer, which was a solid block of ice. Maybe, put the sandwiches in the freezer the day before ...

«The Myrtles was one of the most charming places we’ve ever stayed. From the moment you arrive, it feels like stepping back in time. The property is beautiful and photo-worthy everywhere you turn, and the rocking chairs on the front porch make it feel especially inviting.
The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming and truly made us feel at home. You can tell they love what they do, and they were full of great recommendations.
