However, we were caught by surprise at the cost of parking in the hotel’s parking garage. It was not communicated in the listing and we were only informed about it two days in advance. «It was my first time in Hawaii and I don’t think I could have ended up at a better spot. I was taking a course which was only a 2 minute walk. Every morning they have fresh lemon water for you to fill your water bottle, the room was very cute with an amazing view. AC works well, only downside is side is it blows right on you all night. «The location would be 5 stars. However, the room was small and the furniture was outdated. The kitchenette was adequate for making coffee and using microwave. The view was very nice and only a 6-7 minute walk to the beach. There was a dead roach on bathroom floor when we arrived and the mattress was not comfortable.
