Relax on the beautiful Weeki Wachee River at the charming Seahorse River House!

Located in Weeki Wachee Gardens, FL just a few minutes paddle to the crystal clear Weeki Wachee River. Enjoy the area by using one of our provided 7 adult & 2 youth kayaks, 2 paddle boards, 1 canoe, life jackets & 1 bike. Swim with manatees in the backyard canal or fish right from our private dock where you can also tie up your boat & then enjoy a short boat ride to the Gulf of Mexico.

This space is all about having a good time with family and friends. The private canal system is located directly behind Seahorse River House (formerly Siren’s Cove) where you can tie up your boat or take a provided kayak, paddle board or tube directly to the beautiful Weeki Wachee River or the open Gulf. A trip upstream features crystal clear waters, Florida wildlife including manatees and even dolphins for an experience that you'll never forget. Continue downstream with beautiful views and restaurants along the shore and ending with access to the Gulf of Mexico.

Within an easy 20-minute drive from the Seahorse River House you will find restaurants, shopping, movies, and a community theatre. The Upper Deck and La Bella Napoli are great family friendly restaurants located within walking distance and the grocery stores and bars are just a short drive away.

Relax and enjoy a large concrete entertainment area with lots of outdoor seating. There is also a large screened in area to sit, eat and hang out. There is a lot of space for entertainment. We provide 7 adult & 2 youth kayaks, 2 paddle boards, 5 tubes, 1 canoe and life jackets for a leisurely paddle down the canal into the Weeki Wachee Springs (4 minutes away). There is also a bike available to use.

The Weeki Wachee Springs state park is 4.6 miles away and has a live underwater performance by the nationally recognized Weeki Wachee Mermaids. Your family can get a first-hand encounter with some of Florida’s native wildlife with the wildlife shows at the park. You can even take a river boat cruse for an educational one of a kind experience.

For your convenience, you will find a washer and dryer inside the home. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, wall oven, electric stove stop, toaster, Keurig coffee pot a microwave and all the utensils you should need.

The upstairs balcony has a seating area, the large living room has nice leather reclining couches for you to relax and watch a movie on Netflix or Prime Video (DVD selection also provided). The master bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed. The guest room has 2 twin beds and a queen bed. There is also a nice 6 seat dining table as well as a foosball table.

Three flat screen TVs are provided, one for each of the two bedrooms and one for the living room area. Firesticks are installed on the bedroom tvs and the living room has a smart tv. WiFi is provided. Seahorse River House has 2 full bathrooms, including a huge soaking tub in the master bath. There is also a half bath under the house on the ground level.

We emphasis cleanliness and have housekeepers come in after each stay to thoroughly clean and sanitize the home. Garbage pick-up is included and is picked up Tuesdays and Fridays. We ask that you place the garbage cans at the end of the driveway.
Guest access
Guests are free to enjoy the entire home and we have a large concrete hang out area downstairs that includes a nice bug-free screened in porch area downstairs right on the private canal.
