«Other than the welcoming and helpful staff, our stay was totally disappointing. We reserved a king room which was very tight. The bathroom layout was particularly difficult to navigate. The toilet was low and the shower was a real squeeze. The hallways were not air conditioned and the carpets stained. The exercise room was also not airconditioned and felt like a sauna. Although we have stayed at several Country Inn and Suites in other locations, this one was HORRIBLE!! Never again!»

«Very clean property, nice 24 hour hot chocolate, coffee, and tea bar. But most importantly, extremely pleasant and helpful staff, specifically Kristen. She is 10/10 employee!! Great location, 15 min to presque isle, 5 min to excellent mall. Quiet property, good parking. The only thing I didn't like was no bathtub in room, shower only.»

«Prompt & smooth check in, breakfast was very good, the room was small but clean, the one wall was stained but didn't affect my stay, just kind of yucky to look at. All in all for the price it was good value for the money compared to what other hotels in the area are charging.»

«No drinking water. Breakfast was microwaved. Pool was empty. Room had a bad smell like a dirty hamper. We had a “Suite”, there was a heater/air conditioner in the back room but no airflow or vents in the front of the suite. The staff was amazing and kind, very friendly and accommodating. Perhaps the owners are new and they just purchased the property…I don’t know. I wish I could give a better review, if it was for the staff only my review would be stellar….but for the price point I was not ...

«The website said there would be a bathtub and there wasn't...the light bulb wasn't working in the first room ....they gave me another room at the end of the hall and I have problems walking....when I asked for a room at least near the elevator the guy told me no...... The swimming pool wasn't open....and my key stopped working in the middle of my trip and the phone and tv stopped working as well.....I definitely won't be staying there again...»

«We stayed for two nights when visiting Erie in July. The place was easy to find. It is an old style motel. Check in was smooth. The room we got was ok. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom could be cleaner, especially tiles on walls. There was no hair dryer provided, so remember to bring your own. Wifi was not working in our room. Plenty of restaurants for breakfast and other meals in the area. All in all not so bad stay, but could be cleaner and wifi should cover all rooms. Thanks.»

At the time of booking, there was no indication that the pool was out of service or that the gym was closed. These are important amenities, and both the hotel and Expedia should ensure that such information is clearly disclosed before guests make a reservation. Imagine the horror of getting in a room late at night with people sleeping in it. I don't blame them screaming at us but my daughter got very scared all because of the goof up of the staff. «Check in was fine. I reserved three rooms and one had not been cleaned. I was issued a new room further away from my other two rooms. Cheapest hotel I could find and was a fine for the price.»
