Very cute older home , but newly renovated with some updated fixtures. Just like visiting grandmas house. Cozy spaces, just enough for a few nights away from the suburbs. Host Mike was very accommodating and fast response to questions and finding solutions to minor issues. Few things to be aware of when renting. You do have close neighbors on 1 side so you will hear and see people, dogs, etc. Realitively quiet but you do hear the traffic from the road and gun shots from the nearby gun club more noticeable at certain busy times of day. Well stocked kitchen, washer & dryer, wifi, and new hot tub are stars of this cabin. No cable but smart tv in bedroom and downstairs with roku so options for free apps even if you dont subscribe to anything. Stairs are very steep going down so we opted to stay upstairs most of the trip. Water is hard well water, but they do have a water softener and the water pressure and hot water is great! Mattress was very firm. Also there is a 300 refundable deposit you have to pay on top of your initial vrbo booking just so other people are aware. We spent time in Grand rapids, and Muskegon. Very nice drives through the heart of Apple country. Even Sparta has some nice restaurants and grocery stores.

This location met our needs and expectations. It was clean and had enough room for our large family and two older dogs. Would recommend to anyone looking in this area!
