«We loved our stay here. The staff were so helpful. It was nice that we could order our breakfast ahead of time so that it was ready even if we had a tour to get to. It was a bit of a ways from town but we walked there for lunch once. It was also easy and cheap to coordinate a taxi to town if you prefer. The property was beautiful and we even got free coconuts. at the pool one day. »

«The place was extremely clean. It had a nice small kitchen area and nice refrigerator. The owner was super professional and informative. The facility has a Belizian car you can rent which you'll need because the attractions are not too close. The place is nicely tucked away off the main road going into town.»

«I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.»

«Calico Jacks is a bit outside San Ignacio so you definitely need a vehicle but the room was really cleaned and comfortable. I stayed for only one night so I haven’t used the pool or tried the zipline but the food at the restaurant onsite and the staff were amazing. Julio was my server and my guide the morning after to visit Barton Creek’s caves and he made sure I had a wonderful time.»

«The hotel was pretty modern and new. The double suite was very large and beautiful. It was a pretty quiet, family business and the staff was so nice and accommodating. It felt like staying with family. The food was delicious as well. The area is pretty isolated, but a short cab ride can take you to town for groceries and restaurants. Super refreshing and pretty pool, and the beds were SO comfortable. »

«This is one of my favorite spots in the world! Nothing beats going to sleep in an active jungle and then waking up to all the birds and monkeys singing and calling. The only downside is that it is sort of all inclusive. If you don't sign up for all the adventures you will be stuck paying $36 usd for a pretty mediocre buffet. We aren't huge eaters and we had our own adventures lined up so we ended up driving the 25 minutes to Belmopan every night. Would be nice if they offered a basic dinner and ...

«Fully stocked kitchen, they thought of all the little things. Host was friendly and showed us where everything was. There are only a few cabins/lodges on the property so it's quiet and peaceful. «A family run jungle paradise close to many activities. The birds in the area are definitely the main highlight to this property and the staff know it. In fact it is obvious that they did not overdevelop this land to keep the local wildlife happy and close by. This location is a tranquil spot to use as a home base to explore the Cayo District and the property will offer activities using local, knowledgeable guides.»
