«Air conditioner was broken and shut off in the middle of the night. When entered the room the extra blanket was wadded up in the cupboard. Bathroom just barely clean. When I asked for a printout of the bill they said I had to get it from Expedia, they couldn’t give me one. How do I get a copy of the bill?»

«When we arrived our shampoo and soap dispensers were empty. The night attendant brought some up but had trouble installing them. I believe the staff took care of them properly the next day. We were charged $50 for "amenities". I asked why. Something was damaged they said. That had nothing to do with us, we didn't install the dispensers.»

«Older building but well maintained. We had stayed here previously a few years ago and it seems much nicer now! I am a breakfast person and the breakfast here is EXCELLENT! I will come back and stay here just for the breakfast when I'm in Richmond. This trip was for my son's swim meet, important to have a bathtub, not just a shower, and older facilities usually have tubs (thank goodness).
My only trivial complaint is that the air conditioning unit, while it worked just fine for being older, it ...

«Had to do a late check in, was given a room that had water leaking, smelled extremely musty and the floors were wet. Never had such an experience. Had to move rooms again late at night and the staff was barely apologetic. I do not understand how such a room could be rented out especially when the assumption is that rooms are checked and cleaned before giving out to someone. Would not recommend. Mold exposure is not what I expect from a paid hotel stay.»
