We booked a King Suite, expecting a comfortable and clean stay after a long road trip, but the room had multiple issues. «This is a wonderful property. Beds and living room/dining room space was very comfortable. Our favorite place and reason for booking was the outdoor covered sitting area, the table and chairs facing the water and the peaceful nature of the proximity to the river. My sister was having cancer treatments at UAB Kirkland Clinic and this was the perfect place for us to relax and rejuvenate together. We rested and visited and enjoyed our precious time together. «The room was clean and staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only complaints I have is the a/c wasn’t very cool in our room, we didn’t have any hand soap, just lotion (I packed some though), and the beds were not very comfortable. The pillows were shapeless and way too soft, and the bed was maybe a little too firm. Just not comfy for us. »
