Overall it was good and close to everything! The rooms are older (even in the “newer” side)! The bed was very comfortable and is probably the only part of the room I was impressed with! Had some trouble with the room keys not always working and having to get them renewed at the office but the staff was super great with every interaction I had so that definitely makes an impact! Breakfast was very basic and a bit underwhelming even for “free”! One thing I will say is the attached tavern was really good!! Food was great, especially the Mac & Cheese balls!! Great atmosphere with live music and nice outdoor area! I would recommend trying it even if you aren’t staying at the hotel!

Breakfast is rubbish , rooms ok . I was missing glass in barn door , had glue all over . One lamp don’t not work . Even called front deak no response even after assurance that maintenance is coming . Not going back . Sorry

My room provided a very clean & comfortable stay. There is a basic continental breakfast with fantastic coffee. But, in general the bar was too expensive with a none existent staff.

The hotel boasts a favorable location, and the bed provides exceptional comfort. Initially, we had reserved the family room situated in the rear building. However, dissatisfied with our accommodations, we approached the front desk to request a transfer to the newer building. The staff graciously accommodated our request.

The jacuzzi tub is not working great. Water splashes all over the bathroom floor. There was an empty bottle of mouthwash under the bathroom sink. The lamp wasn’t working but they came to fix it right away when we notified the front desk. Overall, it was a pleasant overnight stay.

The good: location, beds, and larger bedroom options (up to 4 beds in a room). If not for the larger bedroom options, we would have absolutely stayed elsewhere for the money, as you're definitely paying extra for the location being walkable to the gondola. Continental breakfast was average for Tahoe motels. The bad: weird building layout makes for a long walk from certain, including ours. Thin walls and ceilings. Little maintenance things (broken towel bars, janky windows, blinds) have seen better days.

Stayed for 2 nights. 1st night, there's no lights in the hallway(1st and 2nd floor), very hard to walk on the stairs and the hallway(safety issue for customers) and we used our cellphone flashlight. 1 of the bunkbed was making a lot of noise when my son was sleeping and moving around, and when we checked the metal part was not screwed properly. The carpet in the room was very dirty that you don't want to walk barefooted. 3rd day time to leave, trying to open the Ice machine room, the door was locked and was not able to get ice to place on our cooler.

This is a beautiful place for kids they have a night fireplace and also provide everything for smurfs, the place is very safe not only for kids but for dogs as well we bring our dogs for the weekend and even with pet friendly top room are very clean. Omg is a lot of things that I want to say staff is very nice, the breakfast super delicious coffee and hot chocolate always available 24/7 in the reception, very convenient ubicación nearby gondolas so you don't need to walk if you are there for skiing.

We stayed there February 2024. I choose this place because of the location and I was tired of unpleasant surprises of Airbnb's. Since it's a hotel, I though it would have some minimal qualities. I was wrong. I always look at the reviews but I don't know why this time I didn't. Problems: Very dirty room. Not just the floor but the walls had stains of what looked like vomiting. Besides that, a lot of dust. At least it was not stinking or I was not be able to stay. The breakfast is very poor but I was not concerned about it since there are lots of places to eat around it. Pros: It's very close to Heavenly Resort indeed. Very walkable. I will never go back to that place again.

We really loved how close it was to heavenly village in addition to being dog friendly. The room was just a little dirty and there was mold around the bathroom window.

Unfit Hotel Room
Unfortunately, our stay was not enjoyable at this facility, in the room we were given. The carpet was extremely worn, torn, looked very dirty, and smelled, at some spots it smelled of urine. The bathroom had a little black mold in between the tiles that we did not shower the two nights there. The front desk staff was friendly and apologetic. They took off one night, but at $300 a night that room was a rip off. Never will we stay there again.

Great location if you want to be near the heavenly ski lift. Our room looked nothing like the rooms advertised. The blinds were old and broken. The ceiling had clear water damage. The carpets were dirty. The bathroom looked nothing like advertised. The room was much smaller than the pictures. One of the drawers was broken. For the price I paid here, I could have stayed at the Marriott.

Super disappointed in room
The only thing decent about this hotel is the customer service at the front desk. The room itself was disgusting. When we walked in the room it smelled like piss and very strong perfume. The family suite must be used as a “dog friendly” room because there was dog poop and trash on the deck off the slider and the bathroom had extreme damage from maybe an animal being locked in there. The carpet was dirty and disgusting and everything was dusty. The bedspread looked dirty and half the outlets in the room didn’t work. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. We would have left and gone somewhere else, except we would have lost all deposits ($388). We will never stay here again.

I never, ever write bad reviews but this was beyond a mention to the manager. Room was so tiny, old and dirty. Carpet was a mess, walls stained. Heater had a mind of its own. Remote and TV didn’t work but they tried to fix it which was appreciated. Super loud with a dog barking down the hall in the middle of both nights we stayed. Shower drain stopped up. Funky smells in the elevator, hallways, etc. We’re not even picky but yikes.
