«We had a super stay in this apartment. Very conveniently placed for everything - lots of things walkable including the train station so car not essential.! Very clean and well equipped and Keith and Sharon made every effort to keep in touch and make sure things ran smoothly from beginning to end. Lots of lovely little touches too which made you feel very welcome. A little gem of a place - well recommended and good value for money.»

«I have stayed here twice before. The welcome from Lyndon is great. The breakfast is freshly cooked and plenty of it. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom was clean. However the wardrobe was in need of repair and the fridge had old food in it. The bedside cabinets had a layer of dust but I base my review on comfort and hospitality »

«This is a great place to stay if you are flying out in the morning. 5 min walk to the airport. The hotel provide breakfast, but I only took a croissant in the hand "to-go". Tasted ok(a little dry). You can also order dinner in the afternoon. I took the lasagna, and I am pretty sure it was just some factory-produced food warmed in the microwave. Did not even finish it, even though I was hungry as a starved refugee.. The facilities apart from that is ok. Soft beds, hot water, and clean. However ...

«This is a modest, small place. Not really a hotel at all - more a case of Pub with Rooms. We were shocked when we asked, "What time do you serve breakfasts?" A reasonable question? "We don't do breakfast!" was the reply. The (friendly) manager waved her hand vaguely out of the window and told us of a cafe, supposedly a short walk away. We managed to get milk and next morning, made a cuppa and set of to find the breakfast cafe. After a fifteen minute hike we found ourselves well into Penarth ...
