Space Description:
The East House has everything you need for a relaxing and memorable family vacation. This unique home offers three full levels of living space, including a spacious loft and a finished lower level with bonus entertaining areas. Outside, a large yard provides plenty of room to relax, play, and entertain.

The first-floor features central heat and air conditioning and includes a fully equipped, well-stocked kitchen with island seating for four and a beverage center perfect for entertaining. The formal dining room comfortably seats 12, while the inviting living room offers a cozy fireplace and ample seating for gathering. Also on the main level are two bedrooms and two full bathrooms: one bedroom with a king-sized bed and an en-suite bath with large shower, and a second bedroom with a queen bed, a twin bed, and a crib, along with a nearby full bath with stand-up shower.

Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious loft ideal for working, playing, lounging, or sleeping on the Lovesac sofa. This level also includes a large full bathroom with a tub/shower combination and double vanity. Bedroom three features two queen-size beds, while bedroom four is perfect for kids with three twin-sized beds.

The finished cellar is designed for fun and relaxation, with a bar area, fireplace, lounge seating, and a 65-inch smart TV. Enjoy classic arcade games like Golden Tee, NBA Jam, and shuffleboard. This level also includes a separate laundry room with a half bath and a convenient office nook equipped with a computer monitor, keyboard, mouse and wireless printer.

Step outside to the backyard oasis, where everything is set up for quality time with family and friends. Cook up a feat on the Weber Genesis S435 gas grill, dine outdoors with seating for 12, or relax with a book or movie on the 55-inch SunBrite TV under the heated, covered patio. Enjoy lawn games like wiffle ball or cornhole or spend some time perfecting your short game on the putting green. Whether indoors or out, the East House is designed for comfort, connection and fun.

For safety and security:
We have active external cameras in the following locations: front doorbell camera, side doorbell camera, motion activated flood light above garage door, camera facing basement door and camera facing extended backyard. There are also two motion sensors for the Xfinity alarm system in the living room and first floor hallway that cannot record sound or video. They are standard motion sensors provided by Xfinity with no recording or streaming capabilities. Sensors are only active when the alarm is engaged.

Padanaram Village is a charming seaside community on Buzzards Bay, offering everything you need for a perfect coastal getaway. Just a short walk from the East House, you’ll find local restaurants, coffee and ice-cream shops, boutiques, a grocery store, salons and spas- all adding to the village’s welcoming, laid-back atmosphere.

Enjoy easy access to beautiful local beaches where you can swim, lounge, fish shellfish, boat, kayak or paddleboard. Apponagansett Park, located just 0.9 miles from the East House, is easily reached by foot or car and is a favorite spot for family recreation. The park features a playground, volleyball and basketball courts, picnic areas, and open green space, as well as summer live entertainment just across the bridge. Next to Apponagansett Park at Arthur F. Dias Town Landing you can launch your power boat, sailboat, paddleboard or kayak at the public boat ramp. (Seasonal parking fees apply: fishing and shell-fishing require proper licenses.)

Nature lovers will enjoy exploring Knowles Reserve, where neighboring trails wind through peaceful coastal scenery. Knowles Beach, located 0.8 miles from the East House, is tucked beside the Padanaram harbor, it is a small beach, known to locals as "family beach," known for calm waters and excellent quahogging with a Dartmouth shellfishing license. Parking here is free but limited.

Round Hill Beach, located 4.9 miles away, offers a wide, sandy shoreline exclusive for Dartmouth residence, their guests and seasonal renters (you must have a valid beach sticker https://www.dartmouthma.gov/287/Sticker-Day-Pass-Information. With gentle bay waters and the sounds of summer all around, it’s an ideal beach for families to swim, relax and enjoy a classic seaside day.
