«Great location, very quiet with beautiful walks to the lakes and surrounding village. Excellent equipped kitchen to prepare home cooked meals. Bed was very comfortable and the house was warm inside. »

«Upon walking into the property the hallway wall had dirty marks on it and really could have done with painting. The overall impression of the property was that it was very dated and needed a freshen up. The sofa was very old and very low, we all had trouble getting up from it and we did report this. The photos were very misleading as the property was a lot smaller than we initially were lead to believe. All in all a disappointing stay.»

«We booked a 3 night stay in July for a family get together and it was a great choice. The facilities were great and the property had everything we could have wished for. It was very clean and well appointed throughout. We were 7 adults and 2 children and the property coped easily with our number. The outlook onto the lake provided a great setting. »

«Had a wonderful stay here. The inn was very charming, and rhe pub seemed like a popular place for the locals. Loved the area around the inn. It was a little loud from the pub up to our room at the first floor, but it was quiet after 23.30, so thats fine. Would stay again!»

«The staff in the bar and at check in were super friendly and helpful.
The room was really lovely. Roomy, comfortable, good size tv and large en-suite bathroom. Quiet, warm and lovely biscuits in the room.
Best of all the mattress was soooooo comfortable.
We had lunch in the bar which was yummy too.
Would highly recommend staying and eating at The Tawny Owl. »
