The room was comfortable. Unable to get the TV to work in my room. The hallways outside my room smelled of cigarette smoke, which was uncomfortable for this non-smoker. The price was fair for 1 night.

When we arrived to the property the staff member was in the back for 10min while we waited for someone to help us. Once she finally returned to her desk, I let her know our name and she informed us that our room that we reserved was not available. Not only was it not available, she didn't even know what she had. She finally "Found" us a room with two double beds, vs the king we booked. She was less thanm helpful and i feel that if i book a room, and it is not available when i check in, that we should be upgraded to a nicer or larger room. Not stuck in a smaller room. Hotel was so dirty and walking to our room we had to walk around boxes everywhere. We will never stay at this hotel again.

Pros: Good price for a place to sleep for a couple nights. There were upgrades being made to the building. Quiet. Near a great Mexican restaurant. Cons: Reeked of marijuana. There were upgrades being done, so a lot of boxes everywhere. My sheets had a not my blood stain on them.

I’m a disabled Veteran, and when I booked the room usually I’m on the first floor. However, I ended up on the second floor, and I had to have one of the staff members lift my suitcase up 15 flights of stairs. That wasn’t even the worst part, what was worse when I opened the door to my room, to put my things away, there was pink hair dye on the walls; on the picture that was over the king size bed, on the electrical socket, on the tub and the shower wall, this was red or pinkish hair coloring smeared all over the place. Also, the tub was filthy/stained, and the microwave that was in the room was filled inside with rust and mold, and I’m allergic to mold so I have to physically carry the microwave downstairs to the staff office, and put it on their desk and demanded a better microwave. The chair was also stained/nasty and it was broken. The chair had three legs vs four legs. The curtains were coming off of the rod, so you had to literally pull it tightly together, so no one will see through your room. The floor wasn’t swept, and the blankets were stained from cigarettes and food, and God knows whatever else, bottom line the place was horrible and I paid over $750 dollars for a 5 day stay and the place is a dumpster dive, and the doors were constantly propped opened and anyone could come in the hotel! Three times I removed objects, that was used to prop the door open.

The only hope for this place is that the building be razed and replaced by a tire store. It stunk outside and inside of mildew, cigarette, and oil. The front desk had a new reservation software installed and had no clue how to use it. The room was dirty and in horrible condition. Cracks in walls, ceiling, bathroom and no drain cover in tub. The in-room coffee pot, tray and supplies were covered in a half inch of dust and the mirror was filthy. The only positive was no bed bugs and the sheets weren’t too badly stained. (Though there were cigarette burn holes in the bedspread of this “non-smoking room”). But the real horror was the lack of basic maintenance for safety and security. The exterior door did NOT lock when closed. People could walk in off the highway straight into the back hall. When I notified front desk they could not have cared less. In my room, one away from this unlocked exterior door, the hinged security hasp had been ripped out of the wall! I went and told front desk that I was bringing my large dog inside with me and not paying any damn pet fee as it was too late to go hunting another place. If I had to do it over, I would sleep in my car at the grocery store!

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever paid to stay in. The room was filty, the bathroom, filty, soiled sheets. The linen had a smell of the last people, thst stayed in the room. Soiled chair in the room, paint on the wall in sleeping area and bathroom. I will never stay in this hotel AGAIN. The drawers had items still in and things dropped on the floor from last guest were not cleaned up. HORRIBLE! I took pictures.

They turned off the water the night before our check out with no notice, so we were unable to take showers before our flights. Also alarm kept going off at night and wouldn’t let us sleep we had to keep asking for them to turn it off and it was as we were bothering them to do so as they didn’t want to walk to the second floor. Only one gentlemen was nice I think he was a house keeper if it wasn’t for him being courteous and welcoming i would have given a one star all around. Front desk lady with glasses was rude and more worried about her phone then helping us check in.

The room that I booked on line was 2 double beds and when I got there the TV was broken in that room. So the only solution was to put a cot in a room with only one bed it it. Plus they were not able to give me any type of discount because I booked through Expedia. I had no choice but to take the room, but want some type of redemption for the inconvenience.

When we arrived the staff were friendly and quick to serve us. That is where the good stuff ended. We were in town for a race weekend and very tired. The room had a musty smell that we thought would go away after running the ac for a while. Wrong! The ac was the culprit. The bathtub was dingy, towels and sheets were stained, black mold(?) on the bathroom wall and noone had dusted the bathroom dryer for ages. We should've left but there weren't any options nearby. Never again will I stay there.

My room was next to the lobby which generated a lot of noise. I had someone to come looking for me who I did not provide my information to ON PURPOSE. But they found out which hotel I was in and asked the clerk for my room number. The clerk gave him my room number and he refused to leave my door until I came out. There should be some policy against giving out customers' room numbers! I was not happy at all!!

Property does not have an elevator, only stairs. The breakfast they provide is basically something to drink, choice of two cereals or some baked goods and yogurt. No fresh fruits or waffles, etc... Room had a strong chemical smell from the way they clean the floors and it doesn't even clean the floors. Socks were filthy in no time from those floors. Floor was peeling up, bathroom door couldn't be closed all the way and staff left a used bar soap in bathroom.

The worst
I had a problem checking in and once I checked in I received the wrong key to the room so I had to go back down stairs to get the right room and key just to go to my new room which some one was occupying, I went to go back downstairs to get another room which some one canceled. That’s how I was able to get a room that I paid for.

Rooms not cleaned properly. Bathrooms dirty and molded had to wait past check in for 2 Rooms. Front desk and housekeeper very friendly. Beds slept great. We were surprised to see that the hotel had deteriorated so much with very little upgrades.

Room was not clean at scheduled check-in. Mold found in bathrooms of 4 family members. Manager had housekeeper come in and clean. Had small kids in family, went out and got cleaning material. Stayed because prepaid for rooms. Super 8 used to be a great hotel, now it is terrible. Front desk person and housekeeping very friendly. Don't recommend hotel. It is run down and need a lot of repair inside and out.

Well i booked my stay back in April my stay was to be from the 14th of june till the 21st. They waited till the 14th of june around 6pm when webwas headed to our room to call and say i didnt have a room that someone was in my room that they had no more rooms to let us stay in they had one but was not clean. I looked high and low for another place none to be found i had someone else called back asked for a room and they said yes they had 1 room open so we get there were checking in i asked what was the iusse and apparently the regular get priority on rooms so i had to pay full price for the 1 night and they couldnt find me any other roomsits ok we went over the the clarion next door much better hotel the staff are all wonderful here at clarion and we staying another week. So my experience with super 8 was very disappointing i dont think ill ever go there again.

The hotel and room was clean and the amenities worked. We were out of toilet paper on to the front desk to ask for more toilet paper. Front desk stated that I could come down to retrieve my one roll of toilet paper. I stated I have to come and get it? She then brought it to our room. Also, the back door was open by a rock for the most part of the day. I did not feel that was safe .

Beds had nasty stains and the floors were dirty amd sticky. My feet turned black. The bed stands BOOM when you move on the bed.
