Mye forbedringspotensiale
Veldig fin utsikt fra balkongen/terrassen. Rommet var stort, fint med badekar og dusj. Likevel: til frokost får man servert gamle croissanter, frukt og brød fra dagen/dagene før. De kommer med søte saker først, så får man bestille selv hva man vil etterpå: omelett eller eggerøre. Veldig vanskelig å finne/få en salat der, man må selv be om å få noen tomatskiver eller litt grønt på tallerken og da får man litt død og bitter ruccolasalat. En halvliter vannflaske fra minibaren koster 3 euro. Ingen informasjon fra hotellet om severdigheter,  strender, aktiviteter. Bassenget er ok, men ganske begrenset med hvor mye sol man får i løpet av dagen ( ikke hotellets skyld det). Men så kommer man til treningsfasiltetene som består av 1 tredemølle som knirker veldig mens man bruker den og en annen multifunksjons treningsapparat som ikke fungerer så bra heller. Det var ingen aircondition der heller,  så ganske ubehagelig å trene. Man fikk ingen håndkle og det var ingen antibac og papir for å tørke etter seg og desinfisere overflatene. Toalettene, som man kan se i bildene,  var enten skitne eller rustet,  dårlig standard uansett.  Tips til andre: planlegg i forveien når dere vil spise lunsj, for restauranten stenger kl.14 for siesta. Hotellet holder ikke 4 stjerners standard, dessverre,  med det har mye forbedringspotensiale.

Vil tilbake!
Fantastisk utsikt over sjø, vesuv og bebyggelse! God frokost. Fint basseng. Ikke for overfylt, rolige omgivelser. Hyggelig service. Personalet er behjelpelige med booking av dagsturer til Capri og andre steder. Gratis snackmat og drikke på dagtid (har aldri opplevd dette på noe hotell tidligere). Cirka 15 min gåtur til sentrum langsmed trafikkert vei eller privat trapp (250 trinn) ned til marina grande. Strålende hotell! Vil tilbake hit!

The breakfast was very good!The view was marvelous
The lady in the reseption was very kind and sweet! The stab i the breakfastroom was also very kind. The breakfast was marvelous! The service by the pool was poor.The bed where terrible hard. So was the pillows. It was blowing for three days and nigths and the furnitures on the balcony and doors where banging and slammering all the time..!!

Strålende beliggenhet
Spennende og komme til et hotell der inngangen er på toppen av hotellet! Rommene , spisesalen, svømmebasenget, ligger nedover ei fjellside med fantastisk utsikt over Napolibukten. en liten gåtur ned til byen med mange spisesteder.

Hotel Belair is right outside of center of Sorrento. We loved the room and views amazing! Breakfast needs some work. Cold pancakes and not a large enough selection of hot food.We had gotten in very late one night they were so helpful in bringing us room service at 2 am.

This hotel is all about the view. The room was ok by European standards. The plans was understaffed, possibly because we were approaching the end of the season. The priciest of our several hotel stays, it was the least special. We had to chase down someone to serve us at the pool. The housekeeper did not replace shampoo etc or coffee. The bright spot was the dining room and staff there.

Hotel staff was polite but not personable. Not 5 star service. We had issues getting to the hotel, but they hotel couldn't do anything to help booking car services despite multiple asks. The rooms were small and decorations were not up to 5 star standard. The restauarnt was excellent and the staff were very professional and friendly.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Belair. We chose an ocean view room with a balcony and it was breathtaking. The hotel is a bit dated perhaps, but to us that was part of its charm. The hotel was very clean and well taken care of and the staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating during our stay. The restaurant eating area (also used for a spectacular complimentary buffet breakfast) overlooks the ocean and the Sorrento harbor, offering some of the best views in all of Sorrento. There is a small but inviting pool that gets plenty of morning sun. The walk into downtown Sorrento is a short 15 minutes and we really enjoyed that every day. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back again in the future.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel! The service we were given was outstanding! We didn’t come across one individual who wasn’t kind and inviting. The hotel is well-maintained and extremely clean! It offers that genuine Italian feel and that’s the whole purpose of going to Italy. The breakfast buffet is excellent quality and delightful! The staff is very attentive to any of your needs. We sat on the balcony every morning, looking at the water, drinking our coffee and enjoying existing at this property. It’s a small walk to the city center, maybe 10 minutes. The walk is easy and safe. We did end up renting a scooter from the scooter shop that we passed on our first day of walking to the city center. We found this to be more accommodating for us. Our dinner reservations were on the other side of Sorrento. The hotel offers a gated parking area where your scooter is kept safe through the night. We most definitely would stay here again! It’s a great hotel that’s not in the heart of the city center, but close enough to where you get to enjoy a more calm, relaxing atmosphere and a short walk to all of the tourist sites, restaurants, shopping, etc…

Friendly staff, fabulous views, comfortable rooms, easy access to local village but involved many, many steps which were slippery in the wet. The tiling surfaces around the entrance just off the car park we’re also slippery in the wet. All in all a super base for exploring Sorrento and the surrounding area with the calm of being a little out of the centre.

Hotel Belair is the hidden gem of Sorrento! It offers the best views of Sorrento, the sea and Mt. Vesuvius. The staff is super welcoming, excellent service, and very clean and confortable rooms. Loved having breakfast at their balcony and the pool just take your breath away. Everything is walking distance, and they even have a private staircase to the marina, where you can enjoy delicious sea food. Loved our stay and can’t wait to go back.

The staff was friendly and the view from the hotel/room is amazing. However, we did not sleep well because of how noisy our room was and the bed could use an upgrade (was very hard.) You could consistently hear chairs scrapping across the floor and people talking, so we wore head phones/ear plugs. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and had a good time.

We loved the view of the sea and the town of Sorrento Bay, we loved our room and its size. The complimentary breakfast was of high-quality well-presented food with excellent service. Hotel staff inappropriately touched my wife
WARNING! Avoid Belair Hotel in Sorrento Italy at all cost! A hotel staff member touched my wife inappropriately and when we left the hotel due to this they refused to refund us. They said it would be our word against theirs. DO NOT STAY HERE!! We have traveled all around the world and have never experienced anything like this. We brought this information to the hotel managers and they kept dismissing what happened. When we decided to leave due to this issue, as we didn't feel comfortable staying at the hotel, they refused to refund us any amount. We then informed hotels.com of this issue and they said that the only way to get a refund would be if the hotel agreed to do so. It is absolutely unbelievable that this hotel did not take responsibility for what happened. Not to mention, we didn't even stay there. There are cameras all over the building and inside the hallways, which would have captured this criminal behaviour and they refused to look into it. DO NOT STAY HERE. We have also reported this.

Dear GUESTS,First and foremost thank you for taking the time to share your opinion with us.We would like to express our apologies that you had a negative experience in our Hotel, but we feel that your comments do not really match what happened during your stay.We have deeply investigated on your case and we'd like to inform well to all our valued guests how the things have really turned out.We have notice, that the guests had a quarrel and the wife requested to book another room, only for her, not disclosing to the husband the room number and the floor. The front staff made the best effort to satisfied her request and assigned the extra room for one person, despite the Hotel was fully busy during the high season. During the evening the wife was very drunk and stumbling, she was not able to find her room making noise along the corridor of the rooms, knocking to all the doors and disturbing the other hotel guests’. The lady asked to our bell man staff an help to show the way for her room. In meantime the husband was looking for wife's room in all the hotel and met her in the corridor while our polite staff member was helping the lady to reach her room, since she could barely stand. At that point the drunk lady said to the husband that the bell man was escorted her in order to make him jealous and to make up with him later. We strive every day to deliver the best experience to our estimated guests, but in this case we are sorry to be blackmailed with a false report only to get a refund for a "lovers' quarrel".Best regards

The best part of the stay was the beautiful view from the balcony. The room was clean. Nice size. The bathroom was big. The decor around the hotel is not modern, but I did not expect it to be. It is a traditional Italian hotel. Breakfast was nice and again the best part was eating on the balcony overlooking the water. I have no complaints and would stay there again!

Fantastic stay. My wife and I had an Italian honeymoon and this was our first stop. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The staff was fan-freaking-tastic. The dinner and breakfast was very good. We had the most amazing views anyone could ask for and the hotel is a quick 15 minute walk into town. Hotel looks a bit “old school” but the views, staff and food(especially late night room service) more than make up for it. If views are important to you, this is a must book.

My husband and I stayed in Sorrento for part of our honeymoon. Unfortunately, it rained the entire time we were here, which bound us staying in our hotel rooms often. This is the most expensive hotel we paid for during our entire honeymoon and was by far the highest disappointing one. We stayed in other hotels with lower prices that felt way more luxurious than this. It is true that everything along the coast (especially near Amalfi) is more pricey, but the hotel we stayed in down the street a couple nights prior (a 4 star) was cheaper and way nicer than this. My overall reaction to Hotel Belair is disappointment. This hotel is listed as 5 star but barely feels that it should be able to claim this rating. I would describe this hotel as staying at a Comfort Inn but with a nice view. There was mold in the bathrooms, the mirror was rusting, the lighting felt like a jail cell, the bathrobes were scratchy and very used. Overall it all just felt unpleasant. The staff, however, were very friendly. This is a different than what I had read in other reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. I do not recommend spending your money to stay at this hotel. Save your money and stay literally any where else in Sorrento.

We booked a deluxe double room with a balcony in the Hotel Belair Sorento for our late September vocation. The decision to book this specific hotel was based on the hotel star rating (5 star) and the fact Expedia promotes the hotel on it’s site.. We usually stay in either 5 star or 4 star hotels both in Europe and USA, so we expected the hotel to match basic requirements of at least 4 star hotel. However , we never experienced such a ‘luxury’ vacation before From the nonexistent lobby and checkin done by taking passport pictures with the receptionist iPhone, through poorly maintained, and stinky rooms, that cause an extreme headache, all the way to not being able to get even a little rest at night due to a constant construction noise even during the night and from an extremely old / dated windows that whistled all night- it felt like a cheep road motel rather than a luxury 5* hotel. All our attempts to get another room were rejected. We definitely were not expecting to stay in a $1000 room with dirty walls and furniture, sticky lighting switches, and loosely connected nightstand lamps. The hotel was not renovated nor refurnished since 70’s , including the bathrooms, toilets ware, the floors, windows and doors. We are deeply disappointed by the false advertisement, and almost blackmailing when we tried to move out and get our money back for the remaining nights
