«Very good location, excellent service and food, and a clean and vell maintained building. Walking distance from downtown Savannah. It is also perfect to chill on the porch with the complementary wine and snacks in the afternoon. Parking is on the street but that was not a problem. The only improvement would be to invest in a better WiFi; downstairs it worked fine but not in my rom on the 2nd floor.»

«Absolutely loved our experience with the hotel. Our room was fantastic, beautiful interior aesthetic, loved the Nespresso machine in the room. Restaurant was very good as well. The staff were all helpful and kind. Forsyth Park is directly across the street which we took advantage of and it’s a good central location. We’ll stay here again on our next visit. »

«The 2 bedroom was clean, very spacious, good showers, beds, plenty of basic necessities. I loved the decor and the exposed brick. Overall, we really enjoyed it. The one thing you might consider (for units that face the alley) there is a lot of delivery trucks/garbage/construction that start very early in the morning (like 4:30). This is only a problem for one of the bedrooms. Also, our TV was not connecting to internet and was very glitchy, but it was not a huge problem for us. We would stay ...

General William Tecumseh Sherman used this house as headquarters from Dec. 22, 1864, until Feb. 1, 1865. Charles Green offered the use of his home to General Sherman and his staff. Sherman's chaplain conducted the Christmas services in St. John's Church. The house was built for Green, a British subject residing in Savannah prior to 1854. The architect was John S. Norris of New York. The house is notable as one of the country's finest examples of residential Gothic Revival architecture, the detail of the interiors being as sumptuous as any to be found in America. Cost of the construction of this house in the 1850's totaled $93,000.
