Osprey Getaway Cabin offers many amenities, providing a true Montana getaway experience located on Flathead lake in Somers. This Lake front cabin is well appointed for 5 guests between the cabin and the Glamping suite. All its amenities provide the perfect place for adventuring and making memories that last a lifetime. Just a 45 min drive from Glacier Park.
The Space:
This lakefront property accommodates up to 5 guests with its 1+ bedroom with a loft and Summer Glamping suite. Osprey Getaway Cabin amenities include a beautiful Suana, outdoor shower, boat dock, deck with grill, eating area, nice yard area, and a fire pit, all perfect for adventuring and playing during the day warming up on a chilly evening and making s'mores, and memories that will last a lifetime. The property's location is perfect to feel away from it all but be just minutes from Lakeside, Kalispell, and a beautiful 45 min drive from Glacier Park. Osprey Getaway Cabin is a great away from it all place with space for the whole gang including your dog too.
This cozy cabin offers great Eastern views of Flathead Lake, Somers Bay and the Mission and Swan Mountain ranges. The main floor has a warm open concept living area with a kitchen, dining area, and living room. The full kitchen with dishwasher, gas range and eating island make it the perfect gathering place in the heart of the home. The living room has lake views, wood fireplace, pull down screen with projector for movies, and music is just a pick away with the records and record player for your enjoyment.
The rest of the cabin includes a nice sized bedroom with queen bed, vaulted ceilings, walk in closet with laundry, stairs that lead to a bonus loft that serves for what additional needs you have - a twin bed for sleeping, a bike for exercise or a great desk space when work calls even while away. Just through the hallway is a full bathroom with tub/shower combo and outdoor access to the sauna and outdoor shower perfect for warming up after your time in the cool Flathead Lake.
In addition, included in the property is a well appointed summer season only glamping suite tent with queen bed, wood heat, lighting, table, and dresser. The screened in porch is just off the kitchen and leads to the deck with sitting and dining area will gas grill, perfect for grilling and gathering. The dock, and lakefront area are perfect for the family to gather and have dinner outside on the deck while creating lots of lasting memories around the firepit after a great day of adventures on the Lake and in Glacier Park.
Osprey Getaway Cabin is located on the West shore of the Flathead Lake just minutes north of Lakeside. Osprey Getaway Cabin is 3 min from Somers, 8 min from Lakeside, 15 minutes from Kalispell, 20 minutes Bigfork, 25 minutes to Glacier International Airport, and 45 minutes to Glacier National Park. Headed South Polson is 35 minutes away and you will find Native American cultural sites and the National Bison Range just 60 minutes away.
Flathead Lake access where you can participate play on the lake all day, paddle boarding, kayaking, and picnicking, among other fun water rentals and activities. Just a short drive away, you can also schedule, and adventure in many ways - golf, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, shopping, sightseeing, and water sports are all nearby.
Parking at Osprey Getaway Cabin in limited for two vehicles. There is little no street parking because of the layout of the road and private property surrounding the Cabin Property. We can only provide off street parking for 2 vehicles and no room for trailers, campers, RV's, etc. Parking is at the top of a steep hill and you must walk down a steep trail with 4 switch backs to get to and from the house. See Guest Access for more info on the trail and getting down to the cabin.
Please note that Osprey Getaway Cabin is a private road and neighborhood, which means that there is no parking along the road or you are actually parking on the private property of the neighbors.

No Smoking / No Parties
**Please note that there is a $20.00 per night/per pet fee, with a minimum of $80.00 per stay, per pet.
Should you have a last-minute reservation, please contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate, where possible and dependent upon availability.
Guest Access:
The entire property is available for guest use, including the Summer season Glamping Suite, non-motorized watercraft, and dock.
Parking is at the top of the hill and you must walk down a steep trail with 4 switch backs to get to and from the house. This is not for the faint of heart or those who pack a lot of luggage for a trip. The path is steep enough that wheels don't help much on suitcases. Reach out of course with more photos or info on this matter.
In addition to the amenities listed up above, this home is equipped with basic supplies such as: linens, towels, a few rolls of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels and cleaning products. The kitchen comes with standard amenities, coffee maker, and utensils.
The Neighborhood:

We can only provide off street parking for 2 vehicles and no room for trailers, campers, RV's, etc.
Getting Around:
You will need a vehicle to get to and from the property as well as explore the area with ease. As a more rural area there are very few public transport and uber like options.
**WINTER ADVISORY**- Please note that October - April we highly recommended a 4-wheel or All-wheel drive vehicle, as you never know what the weather will be like in Montana.
Other Things to Note:
** Please Note, we have a more flexible Cancellation policy than we can select in Airbnb.
For your reference -
If a reservation is canceled at least 60 days prior to the reservation arrival date the reservation IS FULLY REFUNDABLE.
** When booking through Airbnb that our 60 day cancellation policy is what we follow, so you just need to reach out and we will assist in you getting a full refund.
** If a reservation is canceled less than 60 days prior to the reservation arrival date THEN the reservation is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Property Damages:
Please Note, reservations booked through Airbnb are NOT charged a refundable damage deposit at the time of booking. Should there be guest damage, this will be documented and submitted to Airbnb. At that time Airbnb will verify the claim and has the ability to collect the monies to cover the damages.
