«It’s a convenient spot with lots of restaurants, cafes and bus run to thredbo nearby. The restaurant itself was good as was the included breakfast. View to the lake was beautiful,
Staff not interested remotely in helping us store our bags before check in. Door to room was so squeaky as were all the beds. We were across from the bar area and it was so noisy, if noise is a concern it’s hitting you on all angles so bring ear plugs and possibly your own pillows.

«Even though property was aged it was in good condition, bathroom could do with a remodel. Breakfast was good except the heating wasn’t working made it very cold, would be nice if tv was a smart tv. it was not possible to dial the hotel after 1700. When we came at 2130 everything was closed but there was a number to call at the front door.
There was a nice looking swimming pool with a little cold water (max 22C)
Breakfast buffet was very good but they removed all the food at 930 sharp.

«Honestly the exact cozy snow experience my partner and I were after. Loved the Bavarian feel and especially being by the open fireplace in the bar area. Existing from a totally different era I can't imagine anywhere else in Thredbo has the same charm. Don't change!»
