Summary:

Just 3 minutes from Holmes Creek Recreation Area on Center Hill Lake, you can quickly immerse yourself in outdoor activities and relaxation. Bring your kayaks!



The Space:

Relax in the Mountain Air

Enjoy the mountain air on one of the two decks, serenaded by the soothing sounds of the water stream flowing below the cabin. The full kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave for all your cooking needs. Relax in front of the fireplace (off-limits for use, for decorative purposes only) and watch your favorite streaming show on the smart TV, where you can log into your preferred streaming service or surf the web.



The master bedroom is located downstairs, accessed via the circular staircase, and features a small sitting area. This room is also equipped with a smart TV. The other two bedrooms are upstairs, each with a queen bed. The bathroom is a full tub and shower, complete with towels for your stay.



We welcome pets with an additional $100 pet fee on top of the standard cleaning fee, which will be requested after your booking.



Note: The property includes a spiral staircase. For your family’s safety, please ensure children are supervised to prevent accidents.

No smoking is allowed. (Smoking Violation fee is $350)

The Neighborhood:

This is a total wooded area and the cabin is nestled in the area with the nearest neighbor a few acres away. Low riding vehicles are discouraged and trailers are not recommended due to no place to turn them around



Getting Around:

l definitely need a good vehicle to travel to the area, no taxi or uber is available.



Other Things to Note:

Important Driveway Notice:

Please be aware that the driveway leading to the cabin is steep and, like many gravel roads, has areas affected by washout, which may slow your travel. Low-riding vehicles are discouraged due to the risk of bottoming out. Additionally, there is no room to turn around with a towed trailer; you would need to back down the driveway to the nearest turning point.



Important Information:



ID and Verification: To comply with legal and security requirements, you may be asked to provide a government-issued photo ID, verify your contact information, and provide a valid credit card matching your ID for verification. Depending on our screening results, additional credit card verification may be required. A security deposit may be needed (excluding Airbnb guests).



Pet Policy: We welcome up to 2 pets on the property, subject to a non-refundable $100 pet cleaning fee per stay.



Guest Support: Our team is available daily from 7 AM to 10 PM CT to assist with any questions.



Sleeping Capacity: The home accommodates a maximum of 6 guests. All guests over 2 years old must be listed on the reservation. Unlisted guests will incur a fee of $50 per person, per night.



Check-In/Check-Out:



Standard Check-In: 3 PM

Early Check-In: Requests before 11 AM are subject to availability and will incur a 50% nightly rate fee.

Standard Check-Out: 11 AM

Late Check-Out: Subject to availability with fees as follows:

50% of the nightly rate for check-outs after 11 AM

75% of the nightly rate for check-outs after 1 PM

100% of the nightly rate for check-outs after 3 PM

A minimum fee of $100 applies, whichever is higher.



Supplies: Basic essential starter kits are provided. For longer stays or additional needs, please plan accordingly.



Smoking Policy: A $350 fee will be charged for smoking inside the property, including cigarettes, vaping, and marijuana.



Wi-Fi Disclaimer: Occasionally, Wi-Fi issues may arise due to service provider problems. We are not liable for any compensation due to lost Wi-Fi connections.

Reviewing as a property manager opinion*Communication: very much lacking. We didnt receive check in instructions until 2:30pm day of and that was after I had to call multiple times trying to reach someone. Seems like an out of state management. Number listed in VRBO didnt work. Had to google mgm site.Remote, on dirt road. The turn onto the property is difficult in a big vehicle. We did use out 4 wheel drive to help us up the hill. Read checkin instructions! GPS doesnt get you there. Very dark at night / difficult to see. No cell services until you get onto the wifi. When I asked prior to arrival about cell service, my concern went unanswered. Thankfully the wifi was listed on the check in instructions. House: house was clean, kitchen stocked with the basics. Can opener needs special instructions to use. Thankfully my husband figured it out. Some of the windows didnt have window blinds so that was a bit creepy. Especially for how remote we were. Stairs going down into the basement a little sketchy but no one fell. Duck tape covering or joining a section a little concerning.Bathroom was clean, looks there might have been some mold growing near the baseboard but im not expert. We ran out of toilet paper the day before we left. Hand rails for the shower would be helpful. My grandpa would have benefited from them. Wasnt a bad stay but wish they had some more southern hospitality with communicating. Only have 1500 characters.

The cabin was the perfect fall break get away! Loved the open living area and kitchen. This is where we spent most of our time there. It was nice and clean and very well stocked from toilet paper to towels to kitchenware. It had everything we needed. Host was excellent to work with.

After having problems getting into the cabin our stay went very well. The drive getting to the cabin was a little rough but we took it slow and had no problems. The highlight of our stay was sitting on the deck listening to the birds. The cabin is secluded and is so quiet and peaceful. We’d love to come back sometime.

The road leading into the cabin is rough. The key pad for the door took about 10 mins before i was able to get it to let me in. Once inside it was nice. Very secluded and quiet. Theres a porch out front and a balcony out back with seating to enjoy nature. Theres a stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and washer and dryer in the cabin. All in all it was a pretty good place to stay!

Hidden cabin in the trees

TN holler cabin

My friend and I enjoyed our week at this secluded cabin. The listing is accurate- please don’t try to drive to this without downloading the GPS map for offline use 4WD or AWD. Be prepared to entertain yourself without WiFi for some lengths of time, potentially. We didn’t have it for a few days but enjoyed that. The decor is nothing to write home about and the varnish is sticky on the countertop dining table surfaces. It’s the age of the finish, not filth. There are Zero bowls in the kitchen and no bakeware. Minimal spices, be prepared to bring your own. Most of the lightbulbs are weird blue tinged cold white. I really disliked this, it clashed with the warmth of the cabin.The one neighbor at the end of the driveway, Mrs Shirley, is a sweet angel. She is happy to give help, which we needed twice during our stay. You’ll be blessed to meet her. My favorite part of this spot is the porch that’s up closer to the tree canopy. The birdsong is beautiful. Some of the porch furniture (not all) is creaky, sit carefully. Beds were comfy, hot water was excellent. The washing machine empties directly into the woods off the side of the house which is interesting. Overall, I enjoyed my time here and would stay again, especially for the discounted price I snagged it at.

Had a great stay!

Communication was a little difficult given the area and the recent storms (totally understandable), but we had a great time! It was very private, plenty of room for all of us to stay and have privacy. I was honestly surprised we had so much hot water that far out into the woods but it was perfect! Would definitely stay again and would recommend!

Private Getaway

Cabin is very private, surrounded by a wooded area and a small stream. It is up on the side of a hill. The road is washed out pretty well on the way up, and it is very dark at night. Recommend to get there when the sun is out at least the first day, as we had some trouble getting there in the dark. No wifi at all or cell phone service during our 4 night stay, which made it tricky (we had to drive back to town just to screenshot the code and directions to get in). So if you need to contact people, use your phone regularly, or like to watch TV, this might not be your spot. But if you want to unplug with some peace and quiet, it could work for you. The cabin is definitely animal friendly, with more of a rugged hunter feel instead of a homey one. Supplies provided are minimal, so pack accordingly as we had one roll of TP provided for a booking of 7 people. No bowls as well, so the kids ate cereal out of cups, no biggie, and only 2 adult size towels with some smaller ones. The basement (master area) started out with a heavy musky smell, so we turned on the provided dehumidifier, which helped some. The hot water doesn't last very long, so showers really needed to be spaced out. The furniture is also very loved. But all in all, we were warm, and we did have some quality time with the kids on our trip disconnected from electronics.

Cabin in a Holler

This cabin is isolated on a narrow back road with a hairpin turn to the driveway. It is absolutely perfect, quiet, calm, and comfortable. It may be a little bit of a drive to town but it is worth it in every imaginable scenario.

Perfect Get Away

I really enjoyed this cabin out in the woods. Very clean very remote. Beautiful area with trees and wildlife. Less than 20 minutes back to civilization but you felt a world away. Everything in the cabin was very clean and very well outfitted. No major problems at all in the minor problems were resolved very quickly by the property manager. I look forward to staying there again in the future.
