Flott hotell med bra service
Flott hotell med bra service, de var veldig hyggelig og imøtekommende alle som jobbet der. Fin spaavdeling. Flott bassengområde ute med restaurant (må gå 2 kvartaler og over en vei). Minus var nok trimrommet, det fremstår større på bilde enn det er, men der er veldig flotte muligheter til å jogge langs «strandpromenaden» og egen utegym i nærheten. Hotellet ligger i nærheten til det meste både buss og båt til Valletta.

A nice stay, but noisy building site next door
What was supposed to be a room with sea view ended up being a room with a building site view and super noisy across the street. Guess it will be better once they are done. Strange there are almost no balcony furnitures... could do with a small table... The spa is nice, but make sure you book your trip in advance (also for entering pool area)! And the restaurant and bar is nice and has great service.

Leider hat mein Upgrade nicht funktioniert. Dann hatte ich ein Zimmer mit Verbindungstüre durch die ich jedes Gespräch meiner Zimmernachbarn teilweise bis 1:30 morgens mitverfolgen konnte. Generell ist es sehr hellhörig, weshalb ich mir ein besseres Zimmer gebucht hätte aber leider nicht erhalten habe. Der Spa und das Aktivitätenprogramm sind toll. Das Frühstück ist gut. VIP-Access Annehmlichkeiten habe ich nicht erhalten.

L’hôtel était bien, de nombreux services proposés, le spa est top. Par contre nous nous saurions bien passé des gros travaux dans la rue de l’hôtel à 7/8h du matin qui nous ont donc réveillés alors que l’on pensait être au calme. Le déjeuner n’est pas assez varié, le sèche cheveux ne fonctionnait pas, la chambre n’était pas aussi propre qu’elle aurait pu l’être et enfin, lors de la réservation je n’avais pas compris qu’entre l’hôtel et Beach club (auquel nous n’avons pas pu accéder à cause du vent) il y avait environ 50m et que l’hôtel n’était donc pas en bord de mer, calme… Sans oublier l’alarme incendie qui se déclenche à 1h du matin la dernière nuit… Globalement le séjour s’est bien passé mais l’hôtel ne vaut pas du tout ce tarif. Je suis déçue

Overall enjoyed our experience. However, we experienced significant noise being on the first floor. We could hear noise from the lobby and there was noise coming from above. The noise from above resulted in us changing rooms for a night. When asked if we were on the side of the construction were told no, but found to be on that side come morning (room we moved to for a night). The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The pool/sauna is inside the hotel. It did not respect the 12 people maximum. The dry sauna can fit about 4 people and is very nice. The pool is on the cooler side. Overall, the pool/sauna services were good. The infinity pool is not attached to the hotel but down the street at a private beach club. We knew it was not open for the season. There are free activities available like yoga and one-way shuttles to locations on the island, depending on the day of the week. The location is good for dining and getting the ferry to Valletta.

Beautiful hotel, absolutely destroyed by constant, noisy building works that starts at 7am. Spa has gently playing Zen music accompanied by jack hammer. Wouldn't go back to this hotel until finished, BUT I would use again once completed. A great pity that this vital piece of information wasn't on website before booking. In a built up area but actually was convenient for bars, restaurants and shops. Smallest balcony I have ever seen!

The staff were all extremely helpful and very friendly. The room was lovely and was kept very clean by the staff. The restaurant was very good and served a very nice breakfast. There was a lovely Spa and pool The location was very good. Close to the waterfront, restaurants, bars and buses. The only downsides were building works close by . . .

Overall a nice hotel in a good location for exploring Malta. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok however it was quite a small selection and got a bit samey after a few days

Nice location, close to Restaurants, bars and public transportation (bus, ferry boats). Good breakfast (but rather British). Friendly staff. Too hot water (showering impossible) - would have wished that this is checked before. All in all good, but have been to better places.

PROS Nice sized room. Staff are nice and friendly. Spa had a jetted pool, heated ceramic bed, steam room & sauna available for use. This was a nice bonus since the outdoor pool wasn’t available. CONS The room I got was above directly above the kitchen, so I got to smell the grease and heard the vibration from the kitchen fans. I mentioned this to the front desk and one of the managers came up but I think he thought I was crazy and kindly said they would move me but were all booked up and he would look into this again but never got back to me. The room was also next to the service elevator / storage room so there was a lot of noise in the morning. Scaffolding outside my patio. Some construction in the hotel. The fire alarm went off twice during my stay. The photo on the website is not completely accurate. It looks like you’re booking a waterfront property – but you’re actually two blocks away from the water. Part of the reason I booked this hotel was that it had an outdoor pool – unfortunately, it was closed for the season and not available. It is also two blocks away from the property. Also advertised at booking through Expedia, is that I would receive a bottle of wine which I didn’t get. I would have asked about it at the time but forgot about this as I was dealing with the noise and smell issue. Decent property, but I wouldn’t book it again.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der 10. Etage und somit einen tollen Blick zum Meer, aber auch Richtung Promenade. Restaurants, Bushaltestellen und Geschäfte sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar (ca. 5 Minuten). Das Frühstück bietet eine große Auswahl. Wir würden immer wieder das Hotel buchen.

Breakfast was ok. The issue with this hotel is that on its site/app it fails to disclose that there is construction underway. There is also work going on next door to the front of hotel. Noise starts after 7am up to about 4. The hotel is tired and even bigger rooms are neglected, surprising that instead a new pool terrace and restaurant are instead now being built. This is not a 4 star property and the serenity advertised is a myth. The beach club is closed as off season but at least this is stated on tge site. No mention of noise. Had to change rooms 3 times, due variously to external noise, paper thin walls, internal noise, faulty ac. There were also issues with water being cut off, mosquitoes and cockroaches, very disappointing since the place had been recently treated by pest control. I would urge prospective guests to check construction status with hotel direct. They cannot control work elsewhere, and there is a lot of development currently, however I believe they have a legal duty to inform potential customers as to what is going on at the hotel, since it ruined my trip, and I do not believe this hotel in its current situation should be advertised as a VIP experience.

Zimmer einfach, etwas ungemütlich und kühl, was die Dekoration angehr, es fehlten Sitzmögichkeiten, Bad//Dusche waren gut, an einem Tag gab es allerdings kein warmes Wasser. Das Restaurant wirkte etwas verschlissen, der Restaurantbesuch am Abend war für ein Gourmet-Restaurant enttäuschend, die Weinauswahl gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly receptionist to check me in. Informed me that I got upgraded from a standard to family room as it was a solo birthday trip for myself. To my surprise they gave me a slice of carrot cake along with a birthday card and one of the beds decorated with petals. Had their breakfast buffet and tried their spa facilities all of which was superb. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Malta as all staff members were personable all the way up until I left - security even offering a coffee whilst I waited for my taxi. My small issue I would raise was there was a strand of hair on the hairdryer throughout my stay. Despite the hotel providing a room 'touch up' in the afternoon before the evening sets in (great touch btw) they failed to spot this in my 3 nights. Very small and definitely does not change my positive impression I received from the hotel. Good location to some of the most recommended eateries and neighbouring towns such as St Julians and an easy bus ride to Valetta. Just ensure to bring the exact change for the fare.

We were allocated a disabled room for some reason and we just accepted this as assumed the hotel was busy. However from my observation it wasnt. The room was large enough and the space was not fully utlised. Limited lighting in room so doing make up and hair was a little difficult. The quality is 10. However due to limited facilities in room overall not great. the restaurant food was top quality could not fault it. Steam room and sauna was ok, temp was not great did report to maintenance.
