Relaxing Lake House with Beach, Hot Tub

Enjoy a beautiful view and a private sandy beach on 84.5 acre all sports Montcalm Lake! Spend time fishing, swimming, and paddleboating. Two kayaks and two stand up paddle boards available for your use. You may bring your own boat to tie up to our dock. Relax at the end of the day around the gas fire pit or in the hot tub!

Great view of the lake from main living area. Well stocked kitchen including electric griddle, waffle maker, toaster, blender, crock pot, Keurig, drip coffee maker and dishwasher. Indoor dining table seats 8. Large deck has gas grill and outdoor dining.

Sleeps 10 comfortably. One main floor bedroom with queen bed. Two lower level bedrooms, one with king bed and one with queen bunk bed (sleeps 4). Loft above living area has queen bed. Pack and play available. Two full bathrooms. Home has central air.

Other entertainment options include a pool table and ping pong table in garage (heat available), board/card games, puzzles and smart tvs. Fiber internet available.

*Please note there is a Ring doorbell installed on the front door facing the road.

We had a great stay at this house. The place was very clean, spacious, and well maintained. Everything was exactly as described, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, which made it very relaxing. The host was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Loved this house and lake! Check in and communication was great. Clean, as pictured and well stocked. Comfy inside and out. Loved the beach plus the fully stocked beach shed - floats, toys, kayaks, paddle boat you name it. We loved floating on the quiet lake and the good local food around. Beautiful View

The view from the living room looking over the lake was amazing. We had a very relaxing time spending our days down by the water. The kids loved all the sand and beach toys. We also went fishing several times and caught a few nice size bass.

Property is clean and exactly as it looks in the photos. We enjoyed being right on the water for the views and being able to enjoy swimming, fishing, paddle boarding and the paddle boat. Home was well stocked! Would definitely return.

My family and I had fun, we made the best of the situation, the situation im talking about is the amount of steps to the lake, in the house, to the garage ect. lol it’s my own fault, I booked this Lakehouse on a whim, should have researched better. The house was clean, the garage was fun, spent a lot of time in there. I was disappointed with the area by the water, nothing was cleaned off, spiders and spider webs very abundant, overall we had a good time but won’t be back ( because of all the dang steps) lolDave

Wedding Day!

The property description was spot on. The beach area is beautiful. The only small problem we had was we wanted to use the grill and it was pretty dirty and they didn’t have a grill brush. They communicated quickly with us, we went and bought one and they sent us Venmo. So problem was solved fast. My son was married in Edmore so not too far from the lake house for him and his groomsman to have a place to stay one evening and my other adult children the next evening. I would highly recommend.

Annual Golf Outing with College Friends

The house was very clean and well maintained. The view during the day and in the evening are amazing. We had a lot of fun in the garage area after golf playing ping pong and pool. A few of us got in the hot tub which also was very clean and well maintained. We had a great golf trip and this property was the perfect place to come back to after 18 holes for some fun and relaxation. The Owners / Host Matt & Lari were available at anytime through not much was needed. Their are extremely friendly and easy to deal with and communicate with. We rented the property the first week of May so not to much playing in the lake, but we did spend time down by the water and it was a great space to catch up with great friends you only get to see once a year.

Great spot for a weekend getaway

We loved our stay. A couple childhood friends and I gathered for an annual reunion trip, and we could not have picked a better spot. Not too much of a drive from Grand Rapids and we thoroughly enjoyed the ping pong, hot tub, and ice fishing. Matt and Kari were great hosts. Highly recommend.

Unbeatable Stay

This property was amazing. The photos were so accurate to the house, and everything was just as expected. The place was really clean, the view was spectacular, and the hot tub was a phenomenal experience in the winter. Overall Positive

I think this would be a "great" stay in the summer for the cost. In the winter, for us, it was "good." The house was clean and well stocked other than we did have an issue with cleanliness for two of the comforters. The home is very close to the neighbors and seems larger in the pictures. The pictures also show a wood fired outdoor fire pit type unit, that was not present at the time of our stay, instead there was a propane heater type fire pit. That was sad for us as we brought firewood expecting to enjoy a warm, relaxing fire by the lake side.The game room was certainly awesome for my family with teenage kids. We enjoyed hours of competition. The hot tub is a must for my kids and this particular hot tub was spacious and clean with a very nice cover. The trim in the home was very well done, all oak, and nicely fitted. Looked to be freshly painted as well. Very nice cabinets and fixtures. Overall the home was very nice, although I have to say overpriced for a winter stay. The neighbors were close but friendly enough.

Fantastic Fun with 5 grown children

Its a lovely property, beautiful view, clean and nicely decorated. We used the beach, the paddleboat, the kayak, the firepit, the kitchen and the gameroom! We invented no limits, no boundaries ping pong and threw out all rules pertaining to pool.

Tranquility and quality time

This lake house is set up perfectly for lots of family fun. It was amazing to have the kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and pedal boat provided, not to mention the game room, which was a great hang out space for our older kids. They also liked walking to the general store for ice cream. In our opinion, this house has the best outdoor living space on the lake. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, fires on the beach, and the gorgeous lake views from every vantage point.
