Walking down to the beach with the kids and the hot weather isn’t so fast as for adults alone and when there are cool temperature! Just 7 min down, 11/12 going up but obviously depends! So sorry you’ve found small the bedrooms, this was the reason I suggested to you to book also Villa Aurea Terrace, the studio, like other guests did it...one double bed, one single bed and a cot is too much in one room in every holiday house you rent! Villa Aurea Garden is ideal for 3 couples and 1 cot, or 2 couples and 2 teenagers/kids plus 1 cot or 1 couples and 4 singles. For the roads I agree, but we cannot do nothing against the “tropical” storms we had at the end of August/September because the normal manutantion in this cases isn’t enough and the public administrations here don’t permit to asphalt preserving a natural environment as in other holiday villages around the world! Anyway we’ll be very happy to meet you again here and, who knows, maybe something will change! (Using google translator for German version😅) Vielen Dank für Ihr Feedback, Theresia. Für die Straßen bin ich einverstanden, aber wir können nichts gegen die "tropischen" Stürme tun, die wir Ende August / September hatten, weil die normale Handhabung in diesen Fällen nicht ausreicht und die öffentlichen Verwaltungen hier nicht zulassen, dass eine asphaltierte Straße erhalten bleibt natürliche Umgebung wie in anderen Feriendörfern auf der ganzen Welt! Costa Rei is the best place to be during mistral days or busy Sunday and driving by the panoramic road is longer then by the highway ( just 20 min)! Anyway Genn’e mari is one of the most beautiful beach of the south Sardinia and it is easy to reach walking down! The pool depends of the wind as well but generally is 26/ 27 degrees in this period, could be cooler during mistral days like the sea water as well! My mum cooks well and we are pleasant you loved! In the past I made an help pdf book sending it before the arrival but no one was reading it...so, I prefer to give tips personally speaking and to use WhatsApp for suggestions etc...showers...it is an holiday’s house and we gave more valor to outdoor spaces but we can consider your opinion if it will be possible to change something! And the old traditional Sardinian houses (and not only, in Rome was in the balcony) had just an outdoor bathroom. My parents studied French at school and a bit of English, they have to practice but fortunately yes, there is google translator when I’m not there and WhatsApp is a good way to communicate as well. We loved to host you and to gave assistance for transfers by taxi (so sorry the first driver was a bit rude and no polite) and at the end we resolved giving you the possibility to do a later check out even if other guests where arriving earlier in the same day! It was a challenge because they made a last second reservation but fortunately we did it giving you more time to have a fast lunch during the wait of your driver! So we did it our best like ever we try to do! We hope to see you again one day and...have a good memory of Sardinia days using my mom evo oil in your Caribbean recipes in London! For this reason we were a bit disappointed to see 4 stars and reading your last sentence. First, it is very personal if something is comfortable or not and fortunately we received reviews with different valuations, especially for mattresses and pillows that are very important for a good holiday and the others spent more than 7 nights. There are so many different kind of outdoor seatings, in a lot of spots in the veranda, in the garden, in the pool that we cannot imagine are all uncomfortable and about mattresses and pillows as well, we bought very high quality mattresses and pillows, there are for the guests more pillows then a person could need and we wash every change of guests the cover of every mattresses, every pillows to guarantee hygiene...if you only demanded and there was something to do to help you we were absolutely available to provide you the perfect stay! We are so sorry when we ear something is not perfect because we are always at completely disposition! Anyway, just to specify : we wrote a review about you before to receive a feedback from our cleaners about the kitchen stuff! We didn’t apply you the fine of 50 € (all written in the advertisement) but next time, please, dishes, pots, etc. dirties, in the sink or in the dishing machine. It is more polite and respectful. At last, we gave you the possibility to check out later but asking you to put your stuff in the veranda and to use outdoor shower when some days before we explained you that other guests were coming earlier and at check out, later then 10 am, you still were having breakfast. Furthermore we didn’t considerate internet extras too. Anyway, we wish you a good summer.
