Hotel was nice, room was clean, and the one restaurant on site served good food with exceptional service. Our view was what sold the room; straight oceanfront with balcony on the fourth floor. The picture and videos of the beach, ocean waves, and sun rise are breathtaking.
Having said this, the hotel positions as a resort and does offer service on the beach with chairs and umbrella, as well as drinks - all at added cost. The resort fees per day are $35 USD, I believe, plus drinks and food on top of that cost and the nightly room cost. Parking is also charged on a daily basis at $32 USD per day self-park and $39 per day for valet.
For the room, our bathroom was older style with a slippery tub. When asked for a tub mat to avoid slipping for my 86 year old mother who I reported had already slipped and fell, they arrived with a small towel to put in the tub.
Overall, it is a nice hotel at 4 star range, nice pool area, only one restaurant but good food and service, and beautiful beach; however, you should be prepared to pay the extras for daily parking and "resort" fees.
