This is a property that is in a good location. The pool was enjoyed and the proximity to the ocean and views were amazing. There were enough rooms for our family, so we appreciated that and the ability to be together for meals and playing cards and other activities. Some problems occurred with the previous renters that were communicated to us an hour before check in. Broken handle on the main sliding door to the deck. Upon arrival the outside property was full of weeds and generally lacked appeal. This could be improved by half a days work weeding and cleaning up. The deck on the pool side was in disrepair (broken and uneven) which required our elderly parents and grandchildren to have to move carefully to avoid tripping. The access to the beach was like a tunnel where you had to bend over in half to get through. The grandkids loved it but there was no ability for the elderly to navigate this. The “beach” was nice but every other home had stairs down to it. On the first morning our grand daughter screamed when she saw a large bug crawling in the kitchen. It was a 1 1/2 inch cockroach. The property manager came later that day with a can of raid and sprayed outside the perimeter of the house. There was no oven in the kitchen which limited our meals. There was a very very old toaster oven which we did not feel comfortable using. The blue bathroom tub has no water at all. The living room light/fan was not working. The bedroom fan on main floor did not work. The place needs work.
