Our group included six (6) adults and a large german shepard. We stayed four nights over an extended July 4th weekend. This house was perfect for communal cooking and group meals, hanging out on the quiet and well-positioned deck, and as a base for Summit County activities like hiking, biking, and ATV-ing.The views from the house were mostly aspen trees, the cul-de-sac, and the adjacent houses and road, but very little action from neighbors and minimal street usage meant it felt quite private. The views on the drive up to the house were great. The beds were comfortable with good pillow options. Some additional, lighter blankets would have been nice, especially since the upper level bedroom has no fan. Again, very quiet.Be careful backing out of the driveway into the cul-de-sac. There is room for two cars in the garage two cars tightly packed by the steps to the front door. An overflow car parked in the cul-de-sac was not a problem. The kitchen was well-appointed. We made a variety of meals and used all sorts of bowls, pots, pans, and assorted cookware and accessories, including a drawer full of spices. The disposal, large microwave, oven, and induction cooktop all seemed pretty new and worked smoothly.Curiously, the stereo looked amazing, but we were not able to make it work. We did not ask for assistance.Overall, we were very pleased with the architecture, the amenities, and the location. The house feels comfortable, unique, and fun!
