When we hear the name Marriott, we link it to a particular standard. Sadly, the property is a bit tardy. I just stayed a night, but with a lifetime of hotels travel, etc. That was enough.
1. Rooms are okay. The window is frosted (maybe ad the view is not too pleasing).
2. The checkin process is lengthy. Also no bell boy was provided (i did check in a bit late though).
3. The breakfast spread was good, the quality could have been a bit better. For example, the almonds were quite low in quality.
4. The extensive use of trainees is evident. This practice is possibly a cost cutting measure, yet affects quality.
5. The staff is helpful and nice.
6. The checkout was comfortable.
7. No idea about the pool, etc.
Overall an ok stay. Yet, not upto the quality that we associate with Marriott. However, that seems to be a common issue at Indian variations of the brand.
