Très belle hôtel avec un spa et une piscine dans un lieu magique. La chambre est confortable et calme. Le petit déjeuner est moyen et les restaurants sont excellents.

A very comfortable stay
This was a slightly unusual stay as I stayed one night, then left for Aksu-Zhabagly National Park for a couple of days, then back for one night. Still, both nights were great. The rooms were very clean, the front desk personnel were very helpful, and the location of the hotel was central, though still a longish walk to the historic center of Shymkent. Also, the price was very good for the quality of the stay. Another plus is that two of the top five restaurants in Shymkent are inside the hotel and both are also used for the complementary breakfast. I had only two small issues. The second night, my room did not face the front of the hotel and there was some noise from the street, though not so much that I could not sleep. The other issue was that the staff at the Kazakhasia Restaurant need to be more discrete in telling guests that the restaurant Olivia is also available for breakfast rather than with the line "this restaurant is reserved for important people" ...

Très bien situé, le spa est excellent. Par contre pas le niveau d’un 5* quelques dysfonctionnement avec le personnel et surtout gros problème : pas de clim “froide” dans la chambre, seulement du chauffage en cette période. Réponse de la réception : vous pouvez ouvrir la fenêtre ! Le petit déjeuner est fantastique :-)

5-stars Hotel in Shymkent
We love everything this hotel is offered! The staff, the breakfast, the spa areas except it can be very dark in the -1 floor. Room towels can be replaced with something more soft and luscious. The room is not soundproof. The staff suggested changing the room for us but only facing the apartment next door so we opted it out. We felt safe in the area. There’s many restaurants and gloceries store around the hotel. Mega mall and Abaya Park are only 10-15 minuets walk away. Hotel can arrange taxi for 500 tg to most places. Airport is 2000 tg by taxi. We joined a private trip to Turkestan, arranged by hotel guest relations lady, her name is Tatyana. Highly recommended! A pleasant stay at this truly luscious 5-stars hotel. Wish others Rixos has the same experience as this wonderful hotel!!! We will return if ever in shymkent again!

Hotel veramente di ottimo livello. In perfette condizioni, ha anche una zona piscina e spa molto bella. Di forte impatto anche l'imponente ingresso. Forse l'unica pecca, come in molti hotel della zona, é l'elevata temperatura nelle camere.

The hotel is a great location for conferences and other large-scale events. The rooms are spacious and nicely designed. The common areas are kep nice and tidy and there is a good spread at the breakfast buffet. However, the hotel is not a smoke-free facility, therefore some rooms have strong odour of tobacco. The bathroom vanity is slightly dated and has an unpleasant scent.

A great luxury hotel
This is a new and very spiffy luxury hotel. The decor is slightly over-the-top, with a large statue of Kazakhstan's Golden Man and gilded pillar capitals. But it was very comfortable and has an excellent Italian restaurant.

The hotel that's new but truly lives up to its nam
I really had a great time staying at this hotel. First, the hotel locates at the center of activities in Shymkent! Within five minute walk, you can get to best shopping mall, restaurants that serve great and authentic food, and the park. Hotel is very swanky and impressive with its classical interiors. Staffs are very efficient and friendly. They're ready to help you at any moment with such genuine hospitality and caring, be that a bellboy or the Director of Guest Relations, Mr Yuldashev . Another staff, Arman, who accompanied us throughout our daily excursions to nearby historic towns and monuments had done such an excellent job not only as an interpreter, but like a true friend taking care of out of town guests! Rooms are elegant, glamorous and super clean, to say the least. Breakfast was good with many choices of foods to choose from.
