«We had a room with private bathroom but there was a japanese bath which was very nice. Very nice place and the monks were very nice and helpful. In the morning they had a ceremony with the guests which was also very interesting »

«The room was clean and large. The food was excellent and the monks were friendly and helpful. The grounds and facility was beautiful. We were blessed with a fresh snowfall to make it even more beautiful. Keep in mind if you go in the winter, even though your room is toasty warm, the halls are not. So any walking to dinner, a ceremony, THE BATHROOM, is all in freezing temperatures and I never got hot water from the tap to wash my hands with. »

«From the time that we were welcomed by Teo to to the grace of having my oversized goshuincho signed before departure, the serene and uplifting atmosphere of the monastery was a balm. The meals were delicious, the tour was informative and reverent, and the temple complex across the road was a joy. Our rooms was elegant and simple. 10/10. »
