The home is all yours. You have your own entrance, parking, and full reign of the space. You will enter the home using a door equipped with keyless entry (code provided before check in) which adds ease and flexibility to check in and check out. There is a supply closet in the basement that is off limits to the guests.
The Neighborhood:
Our neighborhood is very walkable. Our home is located on tree lined streets of Shawnee, Kansas—one of the most charming neighborhoods in metropolitan Kansas City.
Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft is readily accessible. The garage and driveway is usable. The neighborhood is great for walks!

HOUSE RULES:
No Smoking Inside, NO PARTIES. No Gatherings. Be kind to the neighbors. Do not block their parking spots/driveways. If you BREAK THE NO PARTY RULE, you will be asked to leave and forfeit your rent. We have the right to assess a $2000 fine if these rules are violated. This home is in a residential neighborhood so please observe the quiet times— 10:00pm to 8:00am.
Disclaimer- We have an EXTERIOR Security camera located in the entrance of our home that record activity when somebody comes enters and leave the area of residence. The exterior security camera are in place to ensure we are in compliance with our House Rules. Footage remains private and is used to monitor occupancy, No Unauthorized Animal/Pet Policy, No Smoking Policy, No Party/Guests or Visitor Policy, and for liability purposes.
We welcome well behaved pets with prior host approval. Please include your pet in the reservation. The platform only allows one pet fee—additional pets must be paid separately via the Resolution Center or invoice. Pet fee is $50 per pet, per stay. All pets must be pre-approved.
Guests must clean up after their pets. Unauthorized or unreported pets may result in fines up to $500, plus any damages or extra cleaning.
The yard is fully fenced and the neighborhood is great for walks.
Guests are responsible for picking up after their pets.
Evidence of excessive pet waste or damage is subject to a fine.
LOCAL GUESTS-We don't host locals unless pre-approved. We reserve the right to decline local bookings if no proper preauthorization/screening is done.
Minimum age to rent is 25 years old.
Interaction with Guests:
You are welcome to contact us with questions through the Airbnb app should anything come up during your stay— we are not far away.. but we do not interact directly with guests unless it’s necessary. We make sure you feel like you're in your home-away-from-home, free of intrusion.
