The Bungalow on Lake Drive

Come stay at the bungalow on Lake Drive perfectly located on the north side of Shawano Lake! This remodeled two-story home comes with all the necessities to make your stay exceptional. The bungalow is a cozy 2 bed, 1 bath home with plenty of outdoor space to grill, play games, have a bonfire, and relax on the deck.

It is conveniently located near many great restaurants/bars, golf courses, casinos, and the Shawano County Park, with a public boat landing. Don’t own a boat? Daily pontoon rental is available for guests directly through the owner!
$180 per day, $800 per week

The bungalow is also an affordable stay for Packer games, a quick 40-minute drive to Lambeau Field.

The Space:
Bedroom 1 (downstairs): Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (upstairs): Queen bed with 42” smart TV
Upstairs Loft: Twin with trundle bed

The bungalow has a fully supplied kitchen, bedding, towels, washer and dryer, smart TVs, high speed WIFI and free coffee! Outside has new patio furniture and a gas grill on the deck. A beautiful firepit with 6 outdoor chairs. The shed (16’ X 20‘) can be utilized for personal UTVs, kayaks, or bikes upon request. Please contact the host prior to arrival if you intend to utilize the shed.

Very clean and comfy. Had a few issues property amenities clearly states there was a hot tub. There was not. I always look for that as an added comfort when vacationing. New countertops so dishwasher was extremely hard to use as it wouldn’t shut. I did reach out about hot tub I was told it shouldn’t be in the listing. Didn’t seem like a big deal. However it was half the reason I booked.

The Bungalow house is a great house for a family. It is very clean, great kitchen utensils, extra clean materials, nice grill to use, and more. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Good space for a couple of friends looking to enjoy the Shawano area.

The inside of the home is exactly as the photos depict. However, it is located directly in the main road and the access to the lake is over aile away, and there are no sidewalks or shoulders to walk on. The only way that we could get to the lake was to drive. While the inside of the home was nice and clean and the patio and grill were in great shape, we were very much disturbed by a major wasp infestation that rended this space unusable. Also, being right on the main road means you are literally just looking at the highway when you sit outside. The fire pit is further back and we did enjoy this very much. In sum, the beds and kitchen are clean, but the location is not ideal if you are looking to relax and use the lake. there could to gett drive

Great remodel!

Very cute and clean property! Love all the updates. We weren’t on the property much because we were there for family reunion but it met our needs. Our six foot one son slept on the twin bed and fit with no problem and said it was comfortable.

Cute place

Very clean, updated house. Host answered any questions i had right away. Home had everything we needed including towels, linens, pots & pans, wash & dryer and so much more. Short drive to town. Definitely will recommend and we hope to use one of his properties again.

Great dog friendly vacation spot.

We wanted a place that allowed us to bring our dog and did not require a full week rental. This place checked both the boxes. House was very clean when we arrived with modern amenities such as updated kitchen and bathroom with a nice washer and dryer. Well equipped with dishes, utensils, towels, etc. Outdoor fire pit area was really nice and enjoyable. Short drive to everything we needed (lake, stores, restaurants, parks). Shawano county park was very close and a great place to take a walk, swim or get ice cream! We also rented a pontoon boat from the owner and a very reasonable daily rate. We loved our stay and plan on being back next year.

Great place near the Lake!

We enjoyed our stay in Shawano at Dakota's house! So nice sitting out on the deck to have meals and a afternoon drink in the wonderful weather. The house was close to good restaurants - Brothers Bar just a few blocks toward town. Also around the corner the other way was a county park with a great beach. The concession stand even had Cedar Crest ice cream (Delicious! and made in Wisconsin). Even though the house was on the main road to the beach the master bedroom where we slept was quiet. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the house as well. We drove over to the Menominee Historic Preservation, Cultural & Logging Museum just a few miles away. Be aware, though, that they are only open Monday - Friday between 8 and 4:30. On the way there from Shawano,we stopped at a small Indian (small like a food truck) on the right as you are going to the museum and got a phenomenally good Fry Bread Taco. ( It only accepted cash though). Delicious!!!

Felt Like Home

We stayed here for a 3 day weekend to attend a wedding reception at the park down the road. Location was perfect. The house was great for my husband and I. We spent an extra day so we could scope out the area. The house is close enough to everything we wanted to do. We were going to have a fire, but the weather turned ugly so we had to change plans. The yard is great. Spent a lot of time on the deck. The kitchen had everything we needed. There are plenty of suggestions in the welcome book for restaurants and other ideas of thing to do. Felt like home. I would stay here again.
