Welcome to fun and relaxation at the lake all year round! Perfect for family and friends.

FALL:
Enjoy the stunning fall leaves changing while warming up to a campfire, or going on ATV adventures. Packer fans - we're just a 30-minute drive from Lambeau Field. The dock cannot be guaranteed between October 13 until late spring.

WINTER:
Live in a winter wonderland with ice fishing, snowmobiling, crafting/quilting and loving the view of freshly fallen snow. Multiple Indoor electric fireplaces will keep you cozy on cold nights. Shawano Lake is known for its ice fishing. Fish on the lake include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye and Sturgeon. Christmas lovers - the halls are decked out for your holiday!

SPRING:
Embrace the emergence of nature by listening/watching the birds, kayaking, paddle boarding, and enjoying bonfires.

SUMMER:
This vacation home is idyllic to bring your family to go fishing, swimming, play games, watch sunsets and make lifetime memories. The cottage comes with a dock to tie your boat, and is close by to a boat launch. No boat? No problem! You can rent a boat at American Marine. The land is flat in the backyard to the water. The water is quite shallow towards the end of the dock, perfect for children to swim in or to sit in with a chair with a cold beverage. We also have two adult kayaks, two kids kayaks (up to 130lbs), a water mat, and two paddleboards for your use. New whole house air conditioning and individual window AC units (for 2 or 3 bedrooms) will be arriving in Spring 2025, just in time to keep you cool for the summer.

YEAR-ROUND:
Enjoy board games/books for all age groups as well as a dartboard. Located on the south side of Shawano Lake, several grocery stores, restaurants, breweries, casinos, golf courses, ATV/snowmobile trails, bowling and shopping areas are just a short few minutes away. Indoor fireplaces and outdoor fire pit will keep you cozy any day of the week.

ABOUT THE SPACE:
This 3-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom retreat offers modern amenities, including a washer and dryer, air conditioning, electric fireplace, free WIFI, and parking in the grass. Sleeping arrangements cater to various needs, and the fully equipped kitchen ensures convenience.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
Enjoy the firepit with provided firewood, a water mat for extra fun, kayaks, paddleboards, and a charcoal grill. While there's no boat on-site, the dock is available for those bringing or renting a boat.

WHAT'S PROVIDED:
We don't want to leave you guessing on what you should bring. We provide bed linens, pillows, blankets and 12 towels. Please bring your own beach towels. We provide a starter pack of essentials which includes 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 rolls of paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap and garbage bags. The shower also includes a full dispenser of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, but does not include refills. To maintain the health and safety of our guests, all pantry items will be removed between bookings. This means that you should plan to bring any cooking ingredients you might need such as cooking oils, salt and pepper, coffee grounds and filters, spices, etc.

Cleaned with disinfectant. Check in and check out with no person to person contact. All towels and bedding washed in hot water that’s at least 60ºC/140ºF. High-touch surfaces cleaned with disinfectant (like countertops, light switches, handles, and faucets). We wash ALL bedding - including comforters.


NOTE:
For added security, exterior security cameras are in place, ensuring peace of mind for both guests and hosts.

Personal items left at the cottage may be mailed back upon guest request and payment to cover shipping costs.

We can’t say enough good about this lovely home and the hosts. We had an entire family with an infant, toddler, teens and grandparents. Both the host and home were overly accommodating. The lake access and views are spectacular. Will 100% stay again.

This was an amazing lake house, and great for a big group. Large open living space for everyone to gather and enjoy time together. Super easy check in process and great communication with the owners. Could not recommend this place enough for groups or family’s.

End of Summer Family Vacation
Great view of the sunset! There was plenty of room for the 4 of us, and we could have brought many more people with us. They had everything we needed to cook all of our meals, the only thing we couldn't find was a marshmallow roaster, but we didn't check the shed. We rented a pontoon boat from American Marine, and enjoyed spending our days floating away on the lake. There was a lot of seaweed so we weren't able to swim from the dock, but it was great to tie up the pontoon and watch the sunsets. There is a Wal-Mart and Aldi just down the road and the downtown was cute with some nice shops. This was our first time on Shawano Lake so we didn't realize the houses were all so close to each other- it wasn't overly busy and the neighbors were nice though. daydays floating on the lake.

We’ve never had so much room and we’ve been renting cottages all over the state since the mid 90’s. We had room for our yard games. Could easily get in touch with the hosts. Only issue was kids couldn’t play at the shoreline because of the mucky sand. But we took boat etc off shore a bit. They also loved the fishing off of the dock.

So many things to do in all weather!
This was our second time renting this property on Shawano Lake, and it was as wonderful as the first! The weather was not as cooperative this time, but we had plenty to do with all the games, large TV for movie time, fire pit, and all the outside amenities when the weather was nice enough to hang out by the lake. The location is perfect for sunsets and bird watching. Loved it!

Wonderful stay!
This cottage was by far the best we've stayed at in the area. The owners thought ahead to the needs of the renters,from toys to coffee filters. The only thing missing were directions to the TV and thermostat for the technically challenged. (us) Would go there again!!!!

Fabulous weekend stay!
Our family really loved our time at Jenny and Kyle’s lakefront cottage. The home is set up to host large families, and our kids made the most of getting their own beds on both main/upstairs bedrooms. The kitchen was equipped with every bowl/pan/appliance we needed. Our family really enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks which we could enjoy right from the dock. The owners obviously care about the details!! We had a few hiccups in our schedule during our stay and our hosts were super accommodating, available to field our questions. We would love to book again!

Great Cabin in Prime Location
Well maintained property with all modern finishings. Comfortably fit our entire family. Great location only minutes from Shawano. Water access was perfect and we could easily pull our pontoon in. Great fishing off pier, caught a variety of fish. Would recommend!

Such a great spot!

Shawano Weekend 2023 was AWESOME!
My family and friends get together for a long weekend every year the weekend after Labor Day weekend. This year was exceptional because of our cabin. It was perfect for 8 adults and a baby and we honestly could have had more people fit comfortably. I have one friend that is very particular and even she said we should rebook this cabin every year! It is absolutely beautiful and the location is great. Thank you for the hospitality.

Family getaway
We absolutely loved this lakehouse getaway! The place was so cute, very open and updated look, and plenty of room for all of us to sleep, eat, and hang out. Kyle and Jenny were great hosts and were fast to communicate when we reached out with a question. Their rental property description is very detailed of what was all included, which I appreciated, because we were able to make sure we packed what we needed. LOVED being right on the lake. The dock was in great shape/safe for the kids, were able to tie up a boat, and offered other lake toys (water mat, kayaks) to use while there. We felt it was a very quiet area, which was great for us. Would absolutely want to rent this place again the the future!

Perfect Place for Family Fun-cation!
My family of 4 adults and 5 children stayed here for 4 nights and couldn't have asked for a better place. It was laid out perfectly for inside and outside group fun, as well as quiet sleeping areas. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming, and had such a great variety of amenities that we all enjoyed. The kids were never bored, and slept so well after a long day of play, which gave the adults time to relax as well. It was just prefect and we would definitely stay here again!

Exceeded our Expectations
Thank you Kyle and Jenny for sharing your cabin with us. It exceeded our expectations. The cabin was clean and inviting upon arrival. We were able to enjoy the kayaks and paddle boards. The cabin’s living area is big enough that everyone could gather while meals were made and the kitchen is very well stocked. Definitely a place we would rent again!

Family Return to Shawano
We had an awesome time staying here for a trip back to Shawano. Our family grew up on the lake for many years and this was our first time back together in almost 20 years. The location was perfect - actually just down from our grandparents old house, so it was very nostalgic for us. They have all the fun toys for the water ready for you. We had plenty of space to have friends and family join us throughout the week. And the neighbors are super nice as well! Definitely would stay here again.

I’ve stayed at quite a few VRBO and the hosts (Jenny and Kyle) were so responsive. The house was amazing. The position on the lake was amazing, close to everything. The house was spotless and had tons of room. I would HIGHLY recommend this property! We will renting again next summer!
