We are so sorry for your less than expectation experience at Kokanee grove. We understand that the heavy pollen bloom has negatively affected outdoor enjoyment in the entire area. There was nothing wrong with the pool other than natural (non toxic) micro-debris from pollen. Truly nothing more we can do to control natural elements but do clean outdoor areas prior to each guest arrival. We regret not providing advanced warning of these elements. Washer not usable meaning there was an article left behind in it which caused guest hesitation to use. We immediately corrected the draining issue and thank these guest for bringing to our attention. The Home, pool and spa area are indeed child safety proofed. For safety, we do advise adult supervision over children at all times, not only in the advertised areas of the property but also in the extended areas of the property. This group was destructive to the rental beyond normal wear and tear which required additional cleaning, replace of linens and repairs. In effort to help compensate for the less than perfect stay, we did not charge guest any damage or additional cleaning or pet fees. We hope this more than compensates for the poor first impression that seemed to dampen their overall experience. We Sincerely strive to offer every guests a safe and enjoyable environment. Guest feedback helps us be better at that.
