Welcome to our personal home, which we're delighted to share with you while we embark on our own adventures! We hope you'll find it a comfortable and convenient base for exploring all that East Tennessee has to offer. Bring the whole family with lots of room for fun! Nice and peaceful place that is 25 minutes to South Knoxville or Pigeon Forge, 40 minutes to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and 30 minutes to the Knoxville (TYS) airport.

The Space: Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is designed to be a relaxing retreat, offering a cozy and lived-in feel. We've aimed to provide all the amenities you'll need for a comfortable stay, from a good variety of kitchen amenities to comfortable sleeping arrangements. There is a dedicated office with a full size pull out couch for additional sleeping. The couch in the living room offers a queen sized pull out mattress as well. There is plenty of parking for 4-6 cars. There are various board games for a restful but fun night in. 300 Mbps internet is provided at the house and a Smart TV in the living room. Think of it as your home away from home!

Guest access

You'll have access to the entire home, excluding a locked storage closet and the garage. We have to have some private spaces to keep our personal belongings since it's our home. :)

We've created a comfortable, clean, and peaceful space for guests. Kindly refrain from hosting parties or events to maintain the tranquility and privacy of our personal space and please also refrain from bringing any pets in our space. If you need local recommendations, we're happy to help.

We welcome extended bookings for guests in good standing! If you're looking to book an extended stay and the dates you're interested in don’t appear available, feel free to message us to check. We regularly open or block dates depending on our travel schedule, so it never hurts to ask. We're happy to work with you if we can.

Knoxville: Approximately a 30-45 minute drive away, Knoxville offers a vibrant downtown scene , which also provides access to parts of the Knoxville Urban Wilderness with extensive trails for hiking and mountain biking. Explore Market Square with its unique shops and restaurants, visit Zoo Knoxville, immerse yourself in nature at Ijams Nature Center, or catch a show at the historic Tennessee Theatre. The Sunsphere at World's Fair Park provides panoramic views of the city.

Pigeon Forge: Just about a 30-minute drive, Pigeon Forge is home to endless entertainment. Spend a day at Dollywood, the award-winning theme park, or visit The Island in Pigeon Forge for a variety of shops, restaurants, and attractions like the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel. For outdoor activity, there are also dedicated trails like WildSide for mountain biking, alongside paved greenways such as the Pigeon Forge Riverwalk Greenway for more relaxed rides. You can also enjoy dinner shows, mini-golf, and outlet shopping.

Gatlinburg: Located roughly 45 minutes away, Gatlinburg is the gateway to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Explore the charming downtown area with its unique shops and artisan crafts, visit Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, Anakeesta, or take the Aerial Tramway up to Ober Gatlinburg for year-round recreation. Of course, the stunning hiking trails and scenic drives of the national park are right at your doorstep.

Townsend ("The Peaceful Side of the Smokies"): Approximately 35 to 40 minutes away, Townsend is another great option to access the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Townsend offers a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere. Here, you can enjoy tubing on the Little River, explore Tuckaleechee Caverns, visit the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center, or find direct access to Cades Cove within Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Foothills Parkway: This scenic byway offers stunning views of the Great Smoky Mountains to the south and the Tennessee Valley to the north. The newest section is near Townsend and offer a beautiful drive with numerous overlooks, perfect for photography and enjoying the mountain scenery. It's a great option for a leisurely drive without the usual traffic of other park routes.
