This is a perfect cabin layout for 3 couples - a king-size bedroom plus full bath on each floor. Each level has a balcony, so even the downstairs/basement floor has a beautiful view. Lots of seating on each outdoor area. Great view of Bluff Mountain and doesn't require driving up a mountain on steep, twisty roads like some cabin rentals.

This house is nice overall - on the plus side, the porch is great (we fought over the swings!) and we had a nice view without having to travel miles up steep hills to get to the house. There is a steep turn into the driveway, fyi, but the road to the house is paved. Also good was having three king beds with separate bathrooms and a lot of entertainment choices in the house.On the could be better side, or fyi, the house is smaller than the photos look and sound carries easily, making it difficult to manage different sleep schedules. It had some easily corrected issues- it didn’t look like it had been deep cleaned in a long time, there were only 6 coffee mugs total so we had to keep rewashing them, there is an air conditioning unit for the upstairs but the thermostat is behind a tv and inaccessible. The tv in the basement bedroom didn’t work. Seemed like it could be a really nice house in a really nice location with just a little attention paid to maintenance and cleaning.The local management company was delightful to work with- emails were clear and they were super friendly on the phone.

I had to give it 4 stars in some areas because of some things that we noticed or ran into. When we arrived to the property we were not able to enter the door with the combo we were given. It unlocked the door, but would not open. We contacted the number provided and were given the combo to the key box. Using this we were able to enter the property and found that someone had locked the deadbolt which prevented the door from opening. Secondly there were lots of spider webs around and on the porch. I know this is nature and expect there to be some, but the fake plants and chairs were covered in them. Lastly- the basement floor, there was a leak in the a/c or water softener which caused the downstairs floor to be wet underneath. When stepping on the floor you could see the water come through the slats in the main area. If anything was set on the area of the floor it would become wet. We didn’t notice this until the end of our stay/ what was causing it and notified them at that time. Downstairs bed was not comfortable as the sides dipped down causing you to feel that you were falling off the sides of the bed. Bunk beds would be good for small children, but not teens as we had with us, as there isn’t much head room (this was on us as we did not realize how close a triple bunk would be) Pictures show a gas grill on the porch, there was no gas grill to use on the property, only a charcoal one by the fire pitOverall nice view and easy to get to cabin. Lots of parking room. 4
