Our cabin is at the end of the ½ mile gravel road and the two closest cabins (the only ones you can see) are a good 50 yards away. There is no road noise, no cabin subdivisions and traffic -- just the peaceful bliss of birds chirping, a little babbling brook off in the distance and the wind rustling the leaves in the trees. The cabin is perched on top of a hill and is on more than 2 acres of land. Feel free to walk down and explore the woods below the cabin and enjoy your time in nature.

So park your car, walk across the lovely front porch, and make your way into our professionally decorated, gorgeous log cabin that is furnished to provide you with everything youll need during your stay. Immerse yourself in its serenity and comfort with all the essential amenities to make this your home away from home.

The cabins open-floor plan living area is the focus of the cabin and has plenty of seating for your entire group. There is a master bedroom and bath downstairs and two queen bedrooms with a shared bathroom upstairs. The upper loft also has an enclosed sun lounge if you want to play darts or just enjoy your morning coffee.

Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville are the three main cities that comprise the area. Everything is spread out a bit and there are amazing things to keep you busy...

- Amazing dinner shows to entertain kids of all ages
- Museums of all types: classic cars, Alcatraz, Titanic and several childrens' museums
- Restaurants of all types... Always come hungry because serving sizes are HUGE!


The entire region is very hilly (After all, it's the Smoky Mountains!) so do yourself a favor and download an offline map in your Goo gle Maps program. This will let you navigate to our cabin and around the area (automatically) even if you don't have cell coverage. Neat, right??!

To do this, it's easy:

1. Open the Goo gle Maps app and log in.
2. Search for Pigeon Forge. Zoom in/out so that the map you see contains everything from Gatlinburg on the bottom to Sevierville on the top. Don't be afraid to zoom way out because it'll get everything in between.

NOTE: Both the TV and internet are powered over satellite internet. This is suitable for email and web browsing and streaming. However, it isn't going to work well for real-time video chat or most online gaming.
