GREAT LOCATION!! This house is convenient to all major attractions in a short drive. One level, 3bdrm, 2bth home with all amenities. Located 15/ 25 minutes from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Newport TN. Minutes away from the Exotic deer farm and petting zoo and 1 mile from food city. Convenient to Dollywood, Splash Country, Parrot Mountain, English Mountain trout farm, Douglas lake and Forbidden Caverns. Quiet location on 2 acres with exceptional mountain views, ideal for families with behaved kids. Pets are welcome. Message with any questions, usually happy to approve!! Games, Playstation 4, Wii, DVD's, Netflix, trampoline, EV charging, internet, hulu Netflix Disney. Breakfast items, laundry, bathroom and cooking essentials are provided. Kennel and fenced yard. Picnic area, covered porch seating and hammock. Resident pets include koi pond, chickens, lynx and 300 gallon aquarium. I come and care for pets with notice. Security cameras around property. This rental was the highlight of our road trip to the Smokey Mountains. So many thoughtful amenities like the snacks, bottled water dispenser, etc. My 7yo and 11yo kept asking to return to the rental after a day of exploring so they could jump on the trampoline and play with the baby chicks. Forrest was so welcoming and a great host. Thank you for such a great experience!

Loved that Forrest had so many wonderful amenities that typically are not included in most VRBO‘s including breakfast snacks, eggs, tons of videos & games . The back patio had a beautiful Mountain View with a lynx , chickens and a 300 gallon fish tank to enjoy. kitchen fully stocked with appliances and condiments. Forrest was very quick to respond and help with any needs that came up. I highly recommend this outstanding VRBO.

Great property near all local activities

We stayed here to break up a very long road trip moving from Virginia to Arkansas. The property was exactly as advertised, and the bed in the master was very comfortable! I always judge a vacation rental by the mattresses and the pillows and check that box… They were both very comfortable. This did not feel like a vacation at all, but more like staying with friends as there was everything you could imagine available to you. They even left a few little snacks out and bottled water, toilet paper, paper towels… It was a great stay.

Time away

House is exactly as it appears in listing. Clean and well stocked. House is in a nice location not far from attractions. Forrest was very friendly and easy to reach if needed. My grandkids loved the trampoline, swing and pond out back. Lynx was very cool. I loved the view on the back deck so peaceful. We had a wonderful restful vacation. Absolutely perfect!

Easily the best experience we've ever had on a trip! A hotel certainly can't compare. Stocked with every single thing you could ever need, plus some! Conveniently located and the most beautiful view! I could've spent the whole trip sitting on the porch. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know, and Forrest was so accommodating!!! And for animal lovers, he HAS A LYNX! Family favorite

Excellent for families with children of all ages & pets. Forrest, the host, provides a stocked kitchen. Completely clean, comfortable house is kept in top condition. Everything you could need or want is supplied. Games, movies, wifi, fenced yard for pets, fenced deck with a view. It's got it all. Best host ever. A new Food City nearby. Restaurants galore in Sevierville or a short drive to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg.

Would have given 10 stars if I could

Forrest was easy to communicate with and a great host. My wife hurt her foot and we had to change the dates and he had no problem with it. He did the change within minutes of me texting him. We showed up to his place and everything was as described. He had snacks available which was really nice. There is a beautiful house cat that stays out in the front that loves attention. She is very sweet. The lynx was really amazing. There are chickens there also. One is very entertaining at night and will even come up to you on the patio. Everything was clean. The location is awesome also. Close to everything. If you like animals don't miss out on Deer Farm petting zoo. They also have a horseback riding tour which was nice and its one block away. I promise if you stay there you will not be disappointed. Thanks so much Forrest it was an amazing week. We would and will definitely stay there again.

Smoky Mountain Majesty

Forrest has an amazing place with a breath taking view of the Smoky Mountains! There are so many cool things about this place like the jacuzzi tub and shower, hammock. farm fresh eggs (yum), purified water, huge aquarium, and beautiful landscaping including a coy pond! There were many thoughtful touches to make our stay special! Forrest was very accommodating in many ways. Just be aware that the animals need to be fed and (fresh eggs put into the fridg;-) by Forrest.

Spring Break 2022

Had a great week here! It was really hard to find a place that not only accommodated our family of five plus our dogs - but this place has it all! We literally needed nothing. Forrest is a great host and literally everything we needed was there! Loved that it was located off the beaten path but still close to everything. The convenience of the grocery store was a bonus too and saved us a lot of money with not having to eat every meal out. The fresh eggs from the chickens was a treat although Mr Rooster needs to adjust his time clock - there is no sleeping in here - which for our family wasn’t a problem as we were anxious to start our days and pack in as much as we could. I would highly recommend this property! Thanks Forrest - we hope to be back someday!

Wonderful!

The rental is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath modular home, but don't let that be a determent as the amenities, location, and views are wonderful! The owner went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The home was immaculate and filled with perks, beginning with upgraded appliances, fenced in yards for pets, what appeared to be farm fresh eggs I am assuming came from the chickens on the property, beautiful huge fish tank to calm you after a long day, and courtesy snacks, soft drinks, fresh fruit, candy, and even a couple of adult beverage samples. The home had absolutely everything you could need or want. I have used VRBO & Home Away for 30 plus years, and we literally go on vacations every single year. In all of those years and rentals, we have never come across a host that has been so generous and detailed in everything to make sure your stay is wonderful. The location is great in that it is away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas, yet close enough to easily travel to and fro. The view of the mountains from the patio is amazing. There is a Food City within a mile of the property which in actuality has prices equivalent or better than Walmart, especially on the meats. Make sure you ask for a Membership card so you can partake of the specials, The card is free. There are wonderful restaurants just a short drive away, including a wonderful pizza place called Gondolier Italian Restaurant. If driving into town, Holston's is a wonderful restaurant as is Aubrey's. One of our favorite go to places in the area is Apple Barn for delicious desert and if you get a chance to eat at the restaurant, we highly recommend it as well. The main draw is nature and the beautiful surroundings. We have been to this area several times, but this was the first time we booked this unit, and it will not be the last!

Home away from Home

This is a very cozy home! The owner provides a large variety of snacks,fruits and breakfast as well as all soaps and shampoo and even treats for your dogs. The property has a cat in the fenced yard out front but its very sweet and can be put in the large cage if needed...Super clean and lots of activities for the family to enjoy and feel right at home. The owner is very kind and attentive... It seems as though they actually live at the property when its not rented and they did need to come in while we were there to get some things for his daughter. Lots of security cameras around the property and one in the living room facing the back door. Overall a very neat experience.

LONG AWAITED RETREAT

This property was very clean, very well stocked and just felt like "home away from home.". It had all the amenities you would need. Very quiet property. Easily accessible, near enough to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle of town. Grocery store and Family Dollar nearby when needed. Forrest was a great host and readily available if needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed staying here, pet friendly and large enough for family even though just the 3 of us including dog. Clean and plenty to do around the house and town. Would definitely recommend. Owner (Forest) is nice and helpful, you can tell he cares about property.

Very nice place

The place was very clean and orderly. Everything you could think of needing was provided. Owner was very nice. This place is good for a family with small kids. My daughter really liked the house bed. The outside house cat was very friendly and my kids enjoyed petting him.

Amazing gem of a property for our family!

This was a booking for a quick getaway for my 9 year old's birthday. Our family absolutely LOVED this property. It is cozy, clean, and has all the amenities you might want. Forrest has done a phenomenal job of decorating and has made the most of every space. Our family especially enjoyed the outside spaces - the house cat's realm the chicken coop, the super fun swing, a descent down the steps to the pond and...the lynx! (He was super fun for us to observe!). Forrest is an exceptional host, accommodating several requests and always maintaining the perfect amount of communication. He is absolutely wonderful to work with. Thanks, Forrest, for a wonderful stay. We'll be back soon!
