• Remote location: this home is in a remote area. A service visit means someone travelling a long distance, so visits take time and are costly. Please read the instructions provided and try the steps first.
• No pets are allowed.
• Fire Pit Update: A wood-burning fire pit is available in the yard while we repair the gas-operated one. Guests are responsible for providing their own firewood.
• Wildlife Awareness: The property is in a natural setting, and wildlife encounters may occur. No refunds will be issued for wildlife-related issues. If needed, exterminator services can be arranged during your stay.
• Decorative Fireplace: The indoor fireplace is decorative only and is not operable.
• Lakefront with Seasonal Water Levels: The lake’s water level fluctuates throughout the year. The distance to the lake may increase during drier months, typically between mid-September and May.
• Lawn Maintenance: Lawn care may be performed periodically. The landscaper will only work outside, and no one needs to be present.
• Deep Water Cove & Dock: The property is situated in a deep cove with a floating dock, ideal for swimming, fishing, or docking a boat. Boats can be launched at nearby ramps. Guests should bring a 250-foot extension cord to charge boat batteries.
• Wi-Fi: Internet in isolated areas like this one is not always reliable. It can be slow, intermittent or unavailable, especially in bad weather. Please bring a backup plan, such as downloaded shows or offline work. Wi-Fi is not guaranteed, and no refunds will be issued for Wi-Fi issues.
• Nearby Camper Rental: A camper near the lake is rented separately and may host other guests during your stay.
• Quiet Hours: Please respect quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM.
• Extra garbage pickup can be arranged for an additional fee. Guests are encouraged to contact us directly to coordinate this service.
• Parties and events are not allowed.
• For your safety, please avoid walking into the lake areas.
• Please keep the fridge at a moderate setting.
• Please don't put wipes or grease down the drains.
• When temperatures drop below freezing, we'd appreciate it if you could leave the faucets dripping slightly to prevent frozen pipes.
• We provide a starter supply of essentials to help you settle in. For longer stays, you may want to pick up a little extra.
