Thunder Mountain Haven is the ideal getaway for families, couples trip or group of friends to unwind and take in the breathtaking beauty of nature. The cabin location is excellent since Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Wears Valley, and Smoky Mountain National Park are all close by. The cabin gives you a sense of isolation, but you're still close to all the excitement the area has to offer. It's the best of both worlds.

The drive to Thunder Mountain Haven will astound you as you make your way through lovely woodlands, past wide-open meadows with charming rustic barns, and up the mountain to this spectacular cabin with astounding mountain views!

When you arrive at the cabin you will find a flat, accessible parking area directly in front of the cabin with room for 4 vehicles.

You’ll take a few stairs up to the cozy front porch where you can kick your shoes off before entering into the gorgeous cabin. As you enter the cabin you will be greeted by the beautiful open concept living area. The kitchen includes everything you might possibly need to prepare a home-cooked meal while you are staying, including stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets, a Keurig Duo coffee maker, and most other amenities. A gas fireplace, a 65" smart TV, and a dining table with seating for nine people can all be found in the living area. You'll be astounded by the views from practically every angle as soon as you enter the cabin. The top-level deck area, which has a gas fireplace with seating for 5, a gas grill, a cozy lounge space, and an outdoor dining table, can be accessed directly from the living room. The excellent mountain views can be seen from this deck and many other areas in the cabin.

A King Suite bedroom with an attached bathroom that has a double vanity, and walk-in shower is located on the main level. Lay in bed and take in the breathtaking mountain views.

Head upstairs to find a cozy reading nook where the kids will enjoy reading their favorite book while lounging in the beanbag chair at the top of the stairs. Upstairs you will find another Master King Bedroom Suite with a TV, Work Desk, and Private Bathroom with Double Vanity and Walk-In Shower. Across the hall is the second bedroom that has a twin over queen bunkbed, TV, and a connected private bathroom with a double vanity and a tub/shower combo. The mountain views from both of these bedrooms are amazing!

Head down to the game area on the lower floor, which is sure to be a popular gathering place for everyone. A custom billiard table, a 70-inch smart television with surround sound, a karaoke machine, an arcade unit with 60 games, including Donkey Kong and Pacman, board games, and an eight-person high top bar table are all included in the gaming area. The game room has direct access to the lower-level deck, which has a hot tub, 4 Adirondack chairs, and stunning mountain views.

On the lower level there is another King Master Suite Bathroom with an ensuite bathroom that has a double vanity and walk in shower. Enjoy the mountain views from this bedroom as well!

**Depending on your provider, cell phone reception may be poor at the cabin. Once at the cabin and connected to the Wi-Fi, you should be able to make calls easily from anywhere in the cabin.**

We take pride in offering excellent customer service. Prior to check-in and check-out, we give very thorough instructions so that visitors may just unwind and take it easy while on vacation. We are excellent at providing prompt responses to questions and concerns. The process of checking in is very simple. A door code will be sent to you the day before check-in. There's no need to meet someone to get keys!

Guest will have access to the entire cabin except for locked owner's closets.

Please understand that we do everything we can to ensure there are no mechanical issues with any amenities during your stay. We can't control when equipment/things malfunction or break, If the fireplace, hot tub, washer, dryer, etc. malfunctions or breaks during your stay, notify us immediately and we will handle the issue as quickly as possible. We do not offer refunds for instances such as this, but we will handle the situation professionally and efficiently.

There are 2 security cameras that face the driveway and front porch. They do not view any private areas.
