Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in a fee due to payment for Odor removal, Duct Cleaning, and furniture cleaning.

WILDLIFE and INSECTS ā
The region is still very much "the untamed mountains", so wildlife and insects are pervasive. This is especially true of lady bugs and their look-alike cousins, the Asian Beetle. We take every precaution and employ a regular pest prevention program with a licensed exterminator.
Despite that, you may still encounter them and other small insects or critters in or around the home. This includes black bears, raccoons, snakes, scorpions, and thousands of other species.

ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS ā
The entire region is very hilly and can be challenging to navigate.
We recommend downloading an "offline map" in your Google Maps program. It will let you navigate our cabin and around the area (automatically) even if you don't have cell coverage.
To do this, it's easy:
1. Open the Google Maps app and log in.
2. Search for Pigeon Forge. Zoom in/out so that the map you see contains everything from Gatlinburg on the bottom to Sevierville on the top. Don't be afraid to zoom way out because it'll get everything in between.

On iPhone: Tap the name, tap More..., select "Download Offline Map > Download."
On Android: Tap the name, select Download, click Download

We strongly recommend that you arrive by car as it will give you much freedom to explore and enjoy the beautiful Smoky Mountains area. As you already know, we offer a free parking spot for up to 3 vehicles.
