«Very nice place amazing views..not close to much which makes it peaceful but you definitely need a car. Driveway is unpaved so low car may have trouble ••note Expedia has the wrong address ..google had the right address with a different name»

«Breakfast was very good and on time. Try the banana pancakes. Staff was very helpful and toured their farm and coffee plantation. The hikes on property were great and the cloud forest experience could not be better. The rooms are sparse but great for the experience. No AC but was not needed. »

«Very prompt responses and issues were resolved quickly.»

«Great example of permaculture»

«Reserved a room of 100 square meters with a mountain view. Got a room about half that size with no view. Tried to contact the hotel about us arriving late, no answer at reception, email didn't work, and no response on facebook. The rooms were nice enough, but luxury should be taken out of the name as their is no form for luxury here. Bare bones room.»

«Simple hostel, but in every way very good value for a good price. Short 10 min walk to main street in Santa Elena, 2min walk to small supermarket. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, beds were comfortable, the included breakfast (lots of fruit and toast and scrambled eggs, coffee/tea/juice) was very filling. Service from the manager was excellent. »

«Very friendly staff, that really wants you to have a great stay! The room was nice and clean, and the B&B in general is very nice and charming. Even though we had a car we preferred to walk to the city centre (approx 400m), because it is really close (but still the B&B is just far enough away to make sure that it is nice and quiet). If you want a nice place to stay for a few nights and do not need it to be super fancy, this is the perfect place!»

«Todo perfecto»

«Our cabin was a small basic cabin with a kitchenette. The grounds were maintained well and there were some trails to walk. The property was in a gated area and a little removed from the road but we still could hear the road at times. We found a roach in the bathroom and some tiny ants on the kitchen table when we first got in our room.»

«Koora hotel was fantastic! The rooms were great, the food was delicious, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was amazing to witness agutis, coatis and monkeys in the hotel area. The pools were nice and warm, and a lot of fun for the kids. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Monteverde! »

«Muy buen hotel y a buen precio»

«This place is luxury in paradise. The setup with 3 bedrooms, open kitchen/living, and all the touches is amazing. The waterfall in the living room was an awesome touch, my 7 year old son loved it! The yard is well kept and great to play and hang during the little off time we alotted in Monteverde. The location is also awesome, with the night tour in Wildlife Refuge Monteverde being one of our trip highlights. It's a five minute walk from the house and a must do!
