"Vi hadde et svært hyggelig opphold på Serena Hotel i Stone Town. Hotellet kombinerer historisk sjarm med moderne komfort, og beliggenheten er perfekt for å utforske gamlebyen. Personalet var vennlige, serviceinnstilte og alltid klare til å hjelpe. Frokosten var variert og velsmakende, og utsikten over havet ga en ekstra dimensjon til opplevelsen. Et rolig og elegant hotell som anbefales for alle som ønsker å oppleve den autentiske atmosfæren på Zanzibar."

"Tv virket ikke. Det kunne de ikke fikse . Problem med WiFi til Tv. Wifi ellers var Wifi bra. Batteri manglet på fjernkontroll. men det ble fikset raskt😄. Stort bad. For liten varmtvannsbereder. Gikk fort tom for varmtvann. Litt lang avstand til resten av hotellet. Men kunne benytte alle fasilitetene der. Bla 4 svømmebasseng. 2 på egen avsats med veldig god utsikt til stranden. Er man i Zanzibar må man forvente noen mangler og dårlig internkontroll på hotell. Det var på alle de hotell vi har bodde 5 stk. Så ta det litt pole pole😁"

"The first hotel we stayed at upon arriving in Zanzibar. We received a very warm welcome and felt safe throughout our stay. The food was good, the staff were friendly, and overall we were very satisfied. The rooms were clean, and the service was excellent. The area was peaceful and pleasant."

"We had a truly memorable stay at Konokono Beach Resort, including time in the Isaraya Over Water Villa, and overall this was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and we genuinely felt we built a good connection with several of them during our stay. A special mention also goes to the Maasai guards, who not only provided security but also added a unique cultural touch by entertaining guests with singing and traditional jumping dances—something we really enjoyed. The food was consistently very good, and the overall cleanliness—both in the villa and around the resort—was of a high standard. The setting is simply stunning. The area is incredibly idyllic, and honestly, it rivals—or perhaps even surpasses—places like the Maldives in terms of natural beauty. The water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming, although it’s worth noting that the current can be surprisingly strong, especially during low tide. One thing to be aware of is the pricing of drinks, which we found to be very high. If you are staying in a villa, it may be a good idea to bring your own beverages. The only real downside during our stay was the lack of shade on the terrace outside the villa. Around midday, it became extremely hot, and we missed having a parasol or some form of sun protection to make better use of the outdoor space during those hours. Overall, this is a fantastic resort with a unique atmosphere, excellent service, and breathtaking surroundings."

"All in all a very pleasant place with friendly staff who took good care of the guests . The only downside is the slightly worn bathroom with poor water pressure. A male pushy salesman for SPA and massage was annoying. We were not interested and it took 5 days before he gave up."
