Inside, the home is bright, simple, and thoughtfully furnished for comfort and ease. The open kitchen and living area make cooking and relaxing feel connected, and the main door opens to a covered and open deck, extending your living space into the forest.

The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, while the second bedroom includes a comfy double bed and a dedicated desk—great for remote work or school. You`ll also find a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo and a TV in the living room for cozy movie nights.

When you’re ready to explore, head to Galbraith Mountain for world-class mountain biking and hiking, or take a quick drive to Alger Alp Trail for a quiet forest loop with peek-a-boo views. You’re less than 30 minutes to both Bellingham and Mount Vernon, with easy day trips to Mount Baker, Chuckanut Drive, the Canadian border and scenic coastal trails.

We suggest picking up groceries on your way to Cain Lake - once you get here, you won`t want to leave! If you prefer to have your groceries, or something special in the house upon your arrival, guests may order concierge service as a separate amenity from this booking by contacting the host after booking or going to PNW Concierge on the internet. Other services and amenities are available as well, including during stay housekeeping, and a personal chef service!

A Rental Agreement regarding the home is required to be signed by the guest on the booking before the cancellation period ends. The agreement will be sent to you through the booking platform upon booking.
The home is not child-proofed - there are no covers on the outlets, or locks on cabinets containing cleaning products, etc. You are responsible for taking precautions to keep your children safe.
The property has easy access to the beach and the Cain Lake (body of water,) please keep your children within sight distance.
In respect of our neighbors we ask for quiet time between 10pm and 8am. Please note that noise travels easily and far around water.
Our good neighbor policy is in the documents we send prior to your arrival, please read and adhere to them.
Only guests listed on the booking are permitted at the home unless prior approval by PNW Concierge (this includes both daytime and nighttime visitors.)

After carefully considering the risk involved, the guests hereby release, hold-harmless and waives all claims associated with the perils of staying at this home, which they may have against the property owners, their employees, officers, directors, and agents.
