The location of Juniper is beautiful, however, 25 minutes from town. The location is serene, quiet and peaceful but with narrow, curvy roads to reach the location we didn't feel safe driving back in the dark. The first villa we stayed in for 3 nights was incredibly dated for the price we paid; the only perk was the private hot tub. On the third night our hot water wasn't working, and the next morning the front desk moved us to a new room due to our water lines being broken. We had considered paying for new accommodations due to our dated cabin, small TVs, old and dusty in general. The water lines going out was a blessing in disguise and saved our trip. They moved us to a different unit right next door that was so nice, modern, clean and comfortable - we really enjoyed our stay after we moved to a better villa. Sadly, we likely wouldn't return but I recommend if you choose to stay here to ask for an updated room. For the price we paid for a villa, the first room needs major updates and or should be priced lower. Overall, the staff was kind and helpful. Location was beautiful and safe in general. Just plan to stay in at night and bring provisions.
