Celtic Cottage is an authentically Tasmanian stay providing a relaxing base to enjoy the world class Barnbougle golf course to the north and the world class Derby mountain bike tracks to the South plus some amazing attractions in between, including the Derby Floating Sauna, pristine beaches of Bridport and the Bridestowe Lavender Farm- oh and did we mention the world renowned Pipers River wine trail!! You will also be well served by the amenities of the Scottsdale regional hub.

Celtic Cottage has 2 bedrooms, accommodating 4 guests.

Bedroom 1 contains a king bed, and bedroom 2 has two single beds. Quality bedding and mattresses are used throughout, for a good night's sleep.

The kitchen contains all the modern conveniences you need to cook a delicious meal.

The dining area is perfect for 4 guests. This flows into the lounge room, which has a smart TV and a heat pump and an electric fire to keep you warm on those extra chilly Tasmanian nights.

The main bathroom has a bath and a shower can be found in a separate room that also contains the laundry facilities.

Outside, enjoy the putting green that overlooks the rolling hills of Scottsdale. You will also have use of the gas BBQ and weather permitting enjoy dinner at the outdoor dining table overlooking the rural views.

If you would like a to use the firepit wood can be purchased from the nearby hardware store or petrol station.

If mountain biking is your thing, you can make use of the workshop to securely store you bike and other gear.

You will also have use of the lock up garage for further security.

Celtic Cottage is located an hour from Launceston Airport. A scenic drive will lead you to the quaint rural township of Scottsdale which has all the basic supplies you will need.

You will have exclusive use of the entire property.

There’s secure off-street parking for 1 car. Access details will be sent prior to your stay.

We are available by phone from 8 am to 8 pm if you have any questions during your stay.

We would love it if you could message us when you have arrived safely and also a message on leaving is appreciated so we can clean as early as possible for our next guests.

As I am not always in the area I am unable to personally check the house before your arrival - I am heavily reliant on my housekeeper and I need to know as soon as possible if you and therefore me have been let down in any way by the presentation or amenities of Celtic Cottage.
