Go out on a fishing charter that's sure to yield something tasty to cook up for the family!! We have great relationships with local charter captains. But book soon because they get booked up!!
We've also got bikes (and maps) if you want to take an adventure around the Chesapeake. This modern beach house sits on six-foot stilts with water views from just about every room.
You'll have water views of the wide open Chesapeake Bay in the distance from just about every window of this beautiful beach house! The gourmet kitchen will provide your group's designated chef with the tools they need to make your getaway a culinary dream. The master suite is on the top floor with its very own balcony for you to privately gaze off into the Chesapeake Bay.

There are brand new laundry facilities on the first floor. Plan your next family holiday at Rodo Beach Cottage and start creating those priceless memories.

There are four beach cruiser bikes in the storage room under the house.

Pet Fees: Please message us if you would like to bring your dog and we can discuss. We are pet friendly ONLY to respectful dog owners that have well behaved and trained dogs. We have plenty of added amenities for your furry friends! There will be an additional cleaning fee of $200 per stay added to all reservations that include dogs. Dogs may not be left unattended inside unless they're contained in a crate. We have a limit of two dogs per stay.

Swimming in the Bay is done so at your own risk.

*We follow all CDC recommendations as well as Airbnb's and VRBO's social-distancing and other COVID-19-related guidelines

**There is a Ring security camera in the driveway and a video doorbell at the front door. There are no other surveillance devices on the premises. The alarm system is not activated during guest stays.

Excellent property right next to the water. A great retreat for us during our stay. The balcony off the top room is a great place to catch a sunrise. Tim was quick to respond and had an easy check-in and out process.

Beautiful beach house

My husband and I and our grown kids and dog stayed for 3 weeks at Rodo Beach House. The weather was mostly beautiful. The house is lovely and had everything we needed, including comfy beds! The owner is friendly and easy to contact. We had great fires in the firepit. Comfortable outside chairs around the fire pit as well as on the beach. The bay is incredibly clean, and the small private beach is perfect for people and dogs. The neighborhood, beach and surroundings are private, quiet and just beautiful. We really felt like we got away!

Paradise! Getaway from it all.

Lovely property with all the fun included! Our family loved the private beach and dock with kayaks, SUP and all sorts of beach items to make your stay comfortable at the beach. We had a wide age group and fun for all. Larger beach just a few minutes walk away too. House is new, appointed with all you need! Details described were exact. Comfortable beds! WiFi great. TVs are top notch. Love the firepit and backyard. Lots of light in the home. Coffee from Leonard town roaster was a hit! Fabulous to be away from the crowds! Kids loved it. Host was an excellent communicator. Definitely recommend!

Quiet & Private Beach Getaway

We were a party of five adults with three dogs looking to enjoy the beach. The Rodo Beach Cottage was perfect for what we were looking for. The cottage was well stocked with any essentials you might have forgotten to bring along. It was wonderful having our own private beach, we never even saw another person while enjoying the bay. It was such a bonus to have kayaks and a paddle board right there, along with two blow up circle floats. The outdoor shower was so helpful with both humans and canines to leave the sand outside. The beds were made up nicely and the linens and bathrooms were both clean. The only thing we all noticed was the floor was most likely just swept, and not mopped. Becasue of the dogs, we'd wipe up water (from water bowls) and the paper towel was black. Underneath where the glasses are stored, there was a broken glass that had clearly just been swept underneath. A quick mopping or once over with a Swiffer wet between bookings would go a long way. That really was the only obvious thing we noticed. We enjoyed our stay and we all agreed we would go back again. It was a nice family getaway for a few days. The communication was so easy and all the information shared about places to go and things to do was so helpful and appreciated.

Relaxing beach vacation!

Property is amazing! Modern furnishings, thoughtful amenities- beach towels, firewood, bikes, dog bowls, beach umbrella, kitchen supplies , hand soap, water cooler, cool refrigerator, kayaks, tv with streaming services….. literally everything you need! Relax on the balcony from master bedroom or main level. Location is quiet….. private beach is peaceful. Close to the state park as well. Highly recommend!!!!! Was a wonderful trip!

Awesome host and the place is beautiful.

Tim has a great place. It has everything you need, even its own coffee grinder and machine. He even provided the cofee beans for us. The house has ample space for 8, and also the property is amazing. Tim worked with us and accommodated all through our stay at rodo beach. Thank you Tim, looking forward to renting from you again in the future.

Spot on!

Excellent/well-maintained rental. Communication was great and location was too. Neighborhood road is a bit dicey with potholes but nothing that caused concern. Dock and beach were also in great shape. We definitely recommend.

Relaxing

House was so cute and the area is quiet and relaxing. Private beach with amazing pier. We swam, floated, fished and made s’mores on the fire pits. Met one neighbor that gave us some fishing tips. Nice and quiet. Bring your food since it’s about a 30 minute drive to proper groceries. Stop in at Buzzy’s for a beer they are super friendly!

Great place to get away from it all

The private beach was fantastic and perfect for relaxing, swimming, and riding the kayaks and paddle board! The home came well equipped with the basics plus a few extras as well, such as shampoo, conditioner, soap for both the indoor and outdoor showers, bug spray, cleaning supplies and fun games and toys for a variety of ages. The house was modern, clean and all the appliances worked perfectly. Tim was extremely responsive to any questions I had about the property. If you haven’t been to the area, it’s a bit remote, which is exactly what we were looking for, having previously visited the community. I was concerned about the internet as both my husband and I needed to do some work while we were there, but there was no need for concern- the internet was lightning fast as promised. Overall, a very enjoyable week, filled with sun, sand, s’mores, and seafood.
