Cozy cabin perfect for two.
Adorable little cabin with everything you could need to relax. Hot tub on back deck and garden tub up stairs in the bedroom. Fire place not recommended (makes the cabin smell like smoke). Plenty of heat with upstairs unit and small space heater in the living room.

Pricey for the accommodations
The house was way too pricey for what was offered. Very dated and dingy looking, smelled like cigarettes when we arrived, trash all around the outside of house, not very clean, minimal kitchen and supplies. The screen was also busted on the back porch so with a dog, we did not even use this area for fear the dog would get off the porch. The roku worked but we had limited tv options and the remote that should work for the tv volume did not work. Cabin needs some major TLC. Would not come back or recommend this place.

My first cabin ever visiting and I’m in love me and my partner will be definitely coming back. Great gateway very quiet best retreat ever.

Cozy but was lack luster
We received a text for early check in , got there and the door code would not work . The property Manager told us to wait around until our original check-in time so we did and the door code would still not work . They had to send us three new codes just to get it . The cabin was clean, although could use some maintenance. The hot tub smelt like pure bleach . I’ve been in public pools and don’t mind a little chlorine but the smell literally burned my eyes when I tried to use the hot tub . I then instead tried to use the jacuzzi tub up stairs , just to find out that the jets didn’t work. The parking situation was also very inconvenient. The cabin lists 2 parking spaces although you can barely fit one . We drive a stock 2008 f-250 and the driveway has branched so low that it scratched our truck on the way in and there was so little room that we had to make a 4 point turn just to get back out . The property managers would great about responding , just wish it would’ve been worth the money to stay .

Lack of cleaning and communication about no motorcycles. No communication until trip was paid and no refunds… fair at best as far as cleaning of cabin. We always leave a tip but after I spent over an hour plus cleaning I figured I earned that tip myself. Dog hair etc all over steps going upstairs as well as everywhere else, bobby-pin in bedroom floor and I don’t use them, etc etc. it’s an OK cabin if cleanliness isn’t a priority. I prefer CLEAN!

Great Vacation
Great place to stay as we ventured down to Georgia to revisit sights that we love to see. House was quaint and clean, bed was comfortable and it was perfect for our 3 night stay. Loved it.

Decent Cabin - Needed a few tune ups
Pros: 1. This cabin was very private. 2. The location was great! We were super close to Ana Ruby Falls and downtown Helen. 3. The hot tub was very nice! Cons: 1. Do not expect to cook here. One of the eyes on the stove didn’t work, the oven was outdated and burned our food that had only been in there for 3 minutes, and the middle starter on the grill didn’t work. This was disappointing because my husband & I brought & bought food to cook and then couldn’t. 2. It was not as clean as I would have hoped. The dishes were dirty. One of the pans literally had burnt food on it. There was also a whole bag of candy and trash under the bed. 3. The jacuzzi jets did not turn on. Overall, if you aren’t wanting to cook & don’t mind outdated appliances, this cabin would be great! My husband & I thought these issues would have been resolved because we read similar reviews. They were not (for the most part), though.

Lovely secluded cabin
This is a lovely little cabin that puts you close to Helen and many hiking trails but far enough away that you can truly relax after a long day of exploration. We love that this cabin was at the end of the road and the view from the porch was all nature. The bed was extremely firm so not fantastic for us side sleepers and the couch could use an update as it is well loved. But otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and especially relaxing in the hot tub to wind down after tootling around town.

Perfect Getaway
If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil location to relax and rest this is the perfect location. Just a short drive from Helen, GA we enjoyed the quiet nature sounds as we rested and unwind after a few extremely stressful days. The property comes with everything needed to fully recharge and reconnect.

Rental Review
Hi, Our stay at the Vacasa home near Unicoi state park was adventurous and peaceful! We enjoyed every moment and look forward to coming back one day. The people in the surrounding area seemed very nice and welcoming. However, we did have an instance a couple nights ago where we were hanging out on the patio at night, and we heard footsteps creeping up towards us. I know there were surrounding cabins near us but there is a a possibility it could have been an animal as well and we understand that. Maybe there could be a way to make travelers feel safe in the area by having Vacasa security maybe? Just an idea, but we absolutely 110% enjoyed our stay!

Huge disappointment
Photos were misleading and made the space appear larger than it is. The layout was terrible. The bed was upstairs but the bathroom was downstairs. The only source of heat and air was a window unit located upstairs high on the wall. I had to stand on something and reach to adjust the temperature and injured my back. We couldn’t stay there after that because no way could I go up and down the stairs to get from the bed to the bathroom. And imagine having to get up during the night and feeling your way down the stairs in the dark to avoid waking your spouse. This tiny cabin was way overpriced (the price was more than double the usual rate because it was October) for what we got.

Our guests can see the home's size and layout in the listing photos and are encouraged to contact Guest Services if they have any questions. There is only a split unit in this property but we are working to see how we can convert it to centralized AC. Cute First Cabin Stay
The cabin is very cute and small. It surrounds 3-6 other cabins in the woods as well so you aren’t alone if you need someone to help you get your car off the mountain like what I had to do. Very quiet and peaceful. Great location on the mountain. Easy drive. You see can the sunrise and a couple of mountains. Cabin was very clean and much supplies was provide for stay. Loved the aesthetics there. Jacuzzi and hot tub were my favorite. However, drive pavement/off trail getting to cabin really needs attention. Me and a few other cabin stayers had our car stuck in the mud after it rained. Had to tell my friend who visited to park outside the cabin trail. If you don’t have a jeep, or dependable truck I advise you to be careful. Don’t come when it rains. I had a small hunchback and still had to get someone to help me out. I had to sleep on top of bed but I bought my own blankets because the first night I slept inside the covers of the bed I got itchy. Maybe because I have sensitive skin I don’t know. Sleeping onto of bed and providing my own blankets and pillow covers made it much better. The cover of the hot tub needs to be replaced because it’s sorta old and smelly but once you remove it from the hot tub it is fine. Had to turn heaters on and heat up with fireplace because even with the fire lit it was still cold upstairs. Tv and dvd and radio didn’t work. Eventually gave up on and just enjoyed my time away from the internet. WiFi works tho. Stovetop didn’t warm up enough; luckily I bought my own cooktop that helped a lot. Oven works fine. Shower and bathroom cleaned. Cute small cabin for couples and for solo travelers. Or good for first time cabin trip. Enjoyed my stay but probably won’t be back. But overall a decently cute cabin! I would tell all my friends to visit at least once. Best advice for future bookers, always be prepared and expect the unexpected.

This is my 2nd stay at one of these cabins. The first time, I was bitten by something and since I didn’t see anything I let it go. 2nd time, same bites and I found bed bugs. The cabin has really nice amenities, but getting bit while I’m sleeping is disturbing.

The driveway was very steep. I think there is a leak under the bathtub as the wood floor next to it appeared to be soaked and wet. The garbage can top was dirty, spiderwebs over bathtub upstairs. Drains in large tubs dirty. Floors felt like they had not been swept. Overall experience was ok.

Peaceful and secluded
Our stay was pretty good. I will say that the couch needs to be replaced, and the mattress as well. Bring some house shoes/bedroom slippers because the floor needed cleaning. It was a really adorable place and the scenery is amazing. We did get cold at night, but all we had to do was turn the heat up a little. Very convenient to the state park, Anna Ruby Falls, and downtown Helen. Overall it was a good stay and not as bad as some of the reviews.

Disgusting!
We are so incredibly disappointed with this cabin. It was absolutely disgusting and outdated. The kitchen was poorly stocked and the fridge was missing the door compartment rails, so that the entire fridge door is not usable. There was inadequate kitchenware to make a meal. There was mold in the bathroom around the window and the shower head was covered in black mold. The couch was completely destroyed and the pillows smelled like wet dog. Cobwebs everywhere that had not been knocked down in quite some time. It is obvious that the owner has not put any money into this cabin for proper maintenance and updates in a very long time. I am not sure why Vacasa would continue to rent this property with their name attached to it. I will never stay in a Vacasa rental again!!!

The moment we walked in the door it smelled like moth balls. The vent for the air conditioner needs changing. The tv remote quit working. The mattress is so old that it feels like laying on the floor. The couch is shredded (probably bc they allow animals) and they had a covering over it. Very little about the pictures is accurate. I was very disappointed to say the least. It needs an overhaul!

The cabin was not very clean. Floors very dirty. Lighting in cabin was poor. Need more lights in kitchen area especially above sink. Lighting was so poor it was hard to see to prepare food. One rocking chair on porch was broken. The roof above the Jacuzzi leaked. The grill was in very poor shape. A lot of rust and the electric igniter did not work. The whole grill needs to be replaced. The couch needs to be replaced. The springs were gone, upholstery ripped and a lot of trash under the cushions. No mixing bowls in kitchen. The floor on the porch was very dirty. A lot of grease on floor around grill. Definitely not worth what we paid for it. Could not get the TV to work. We seriously considered leaving the day after we got there and going home. We rented the cabin to spend a few days just relaxing but with the condition of the cabin we couldn't relax like we planned on. Will definitely not rent another cabin through you. You need to put some money back into the furnishings of the cabin and get better lighting among other things..

Decent, but probably wouldn't stay again.
Overall it wasn't too bad but probably wouldn't stay again. The location was great and the cabin itself was really cute. We liked the hot tub and having a jacuzzi tub in the loft. But the decor was pretty outdated and the couch was extremely uncomfortable. Also thought the $60 cleaning fee was pretty steep, especially considering that the cabin wasn't all too clean when we arrived. Also there isn't a dumpster on the property and they require you to bring your trash to the main office which was about 2 miles away. Furthermore the smoke alarm kept going off. Took the staff 3 hours to get there and then they didn't have the equipment to fix it so they left and said they would come back. They never came back. So we spent a majority of the day hearing a loud smoke alarm (until we took out the batteries) and waiting on them to come back. Again, overall just a bunch of minor inconveniences that built up to make a generally unpleasant taste in our mouths.
