Labor Day weekend stay
The cabin was very homey and nice. Beds super comfortable. Nice area and close to towns. Could use dish clothes in kitchen. There were none. Master bath had no wash clothes and only two bath towels. Fans on screened in porch would have made it more comfortable. But Over all it was a nice stay.

We do apologize that the dish, wash cloths and extra towels were not set out downstairs prior to your arrival, as they normally should have been. It is our goal that each and every guest have the best experience possible. I text the VRBO manager of our cabin, The fact that we read a report that said the pool was very cold. I got a return text that said that he had contacted the property manager to make sure the heating system of the pool was working properly. The first day the pool was cool, but doable. The second day it was cold. The third day was too cold to swim, but the kids got in anyway., but not the adults. We talked to a man with his two little girls while we were fishing. He said that the pool was too cold for the girls to swim. I would definitely go back, But I would have to have some assurances that the pool was fixed. Other than that, we loved the area.

Thank you so much for the 5 star rating and for the feedback regarding the pool. Upon your earlier request, we were able to verify on the day prior to your check-in that the heater was working and the pool water was at the set temperature of 82 degrees. We were not notified during your stay that there was a concern or that the pool thermometer by the ladder was showing that the temp had dropped below that. Our pool is serviced on a frequent and regular schedule by a licensed pool service so we are able to respond quickly once alerted to any potential issues.

Perfect cabin for our family of 7!
We had a wonderful stay, cabin is clean and exactly as pictured. Hosts were wonderful and quickly replaced broken dishwasher while we were out to dinner. Can’t wait to stay again!

Great stay in Saugatuck
The house was perfect in every way! Clean, well equipped, charming. Beds comfortable. Jacuzzi tub and shower were awesome! Steps to the pool. Bike ride to Saugatuck. We were disappointed the pool was so cold! Suggestions: the owner of the home stopped by to repair the screen door and the dehumidifier. He was very friendly but I would have preferred a call or text first. Would prefer a gas grill to charcoal. Hot tub on the back porch would be nice. Overall it the cabin and the area were awesome! So many things to do.

Lake Michigan Stay
The cabin was perfect for our family vacation in early June. The weather was wonderful, crowds were low, the beaches were beautiful and the house was just short drives to great attractions. We visited Saugatuck Dunes state park, Tunnel park, Laketown beach, Pier Cove beach, took Mt Baldhead hike to Oval beach and walked the streets of Saugatuck near Butler St and the Kalamazoo lake. We spent the evenings in cooking at the cabin and enjoying the campfire. The house had everything we needed and more. Perfect size and cleanliness was spot on. An ice cream shop in a short walking distance was a special treat for our kids. All and all great trip for our family of four.

The cabin was awesome! Loved the tongue and groove woodwork everywhere, modern appliances, and the kitchen with everything.. we loved the fire pit. Only negative was that it had to be shared with the cabin Nextdoor. We’ve already booked next Labor Day wknd.

Nice rustic look. Clean except for the old dried up piece of pizza on the back porch. Spacious with Enough space for our group of 5 adults and 1 child. Internet good. Beds not the most comfortable. Toilets sluggish but worked. Nice walk to lake on boardwalk. Pool clean and nice. Located close to all we wanted to do.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway
Couldn't have asked more of this property. Great location just minutes from downtown Saugatuck and a short drive to Holland. Serene setting and absolutely beautiful cabin. We never wanted to leave. The property manager was super helpful with the few questions we had. Would definitely rebook.

Lönnhuset Lodge is such a lovely cabin! Vaulted ceiling, big cozy beds, kitchen with high end amenities, screened in deck - we loved it all. Perfect for our mom's getaway!

Loved the cabin and area!
This cabin is located just off Blue Star Hwy in a quiet neighborhood. The ramp and walk-in shower were perfect for the older members of my family with me. The younger adults enjoyed the jacuzzi bathtub and pool access. The kitchen and laundry area are perfect for extended stays. We appreciated there was already cut fire wood available for the fire pit. The screened in porch was a lovely sitting area, especially since it rained for part of our trip. The cabin was exceptionally clean and we appreciated the extra blankets available in the closets. The location is within walking distance of ice cream, dune buggy rides, and Biggby coffee. I also recommend trying out the Rootbeer Barrel if you are in the area. Highly recommend!

Perfect for a quick getaway with family
We enjoyed a quick getaway in a very clean, as well as comfortably furnished cabin. Owner was easily accessible and very friendly. Location was a just a short drive from the business district of Saugatuck. The wood burning fireplace was a plus! Thank you for the lovely stay!

Wonderful Mid Week Getaway
My family had a great mid week getaway in March. The cabin exceeded our expectations! Cozy, rustic and luxury definitely describe this property. It was very clean and had many extra amenities. A great layout for two adults and two young children, plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the porches and walking around the resort. Easy check in and quick response from owner when we had a question. A very memorable trip!

Convenient bike ride to Downtown Saugatuck
Three bedroom cabin , decently appointed in a small enclave of similar homes. Easily slept 8 adults with enough room for dining and privacy. Lovely screened in porch. Disappointed in the outdoor charcoal grill which was basically what you’d find in a township park, and limited tools to clean the grill as owner advised we do .Some of the kitchen appliances were beyond their useful years.Cabin was not as clean as I would have expected , especially given that we were travelling during COVID. Ceiling fans overhead literally raining dust balls on us as we sat to watch TV or use the upstairs loft . Hopefully the owner will rectify these issues. Good WiFi and plenty of TVs.

Was great for a girls mini trip! A nice combination of rustic and luxury and still a very cozy and warm atmosphere! It is a bit pricey, so definitely just something to do for very special occasions but if such an occasion should arise, I would definitely come back here!

Great place
There were 3 couples and 2 small children that stayed here for 3 nights. It was great! There is a pack and play and gates to keep little ones from going upstairs. The place was clean and comfortable. I only wish that the checkout time was 11:00 instead of 10:00. We got up early to get out, but still rushed with checkout requirements.
