Spacious villa with a pool, ideally located near the city center

  • The Domaine des Maséliades combines the calm of the countryside and the proximity of the historic center of Sarlat (10 minutes walk). It offers the villas La Chênaie, les Charmes, les Chataigniers and les Lauriers, superb Périgord villas of about 200m² for the largest and 140m2 for the Lauriers, spacious, air-conditioned, they accommodate from 2 to 8 people for the first three and from 2 to 6 people for the Lauriers. They include 1 living room/equipped kitchen, 1 independent living room with flat screen TV and DVD, 3 or 4 bedrooms (16 to 17m²) each with its bathroom or bathroom and WC, 1 laundry room with washing machine, ironing board and iron, 1 day WC with washbasin.
    The air conditioning ensures perfect well-being even if the heat wave is here.
    To eat or relax, a magnificent terrace with garden furniture and gas plancha.
    On the beaches, swimming pools (4x11m) sunbathing await you.
    The pools are heated from May to September if the weather is favourable.

Our stay was perfect, the house was as described and the pool wonderful, especially in the heat wave! Each bedroom has its own bathroom, ideal for sharing a house with friends. At Emmanuelle's suggestion we parked at the middle school to leisure walk downtown.

Lovely house in a great location

Close to Sarlat but in a quiet and peaceful setting. The host was great at communicating and provided much good information about nearby attractions.

Sarlat and the Beautiful Perigord

Very comfortable, very welcoming, Emmanuelle went out of her way to make our stay everything we could wish for. Sarlat is a great base for exploring the area and this property is walkable to the town center, and far enough away from the main roads to make for quiet surroundings. Very happy with our stay.

Great house!

This is a nice house in a quiet neighborhood steps close to the medieval center of Sarlot - walkable to town but we drove and parked the public lots. While there we rented canoes, explored the charming town. The house was very cjomfortable and the pool was great although the weather was cool while we were there. The house is simply furnished and well equipped.

Near the city, but far enough away.

This is a very large property and good for a larger group of visitors. Emmanuelle was a great host, and very responsive when we had questions. The furnishings were very eclectic and it would’ve been nice to have a dresser in the bedrooms so that we didn’t have to live out of our suitcases, since space was not at a premium. The pool area was very nice and the kitchen was well stocked.

Sarlat Super Stay

This is a beautiful private house up the hill from Sarlat Centre Ville. The pool is nice and the house very clean and spacious. There is so much to see in the Dordogne! Emmanuelle our host was helpful and a pleasure to work with. Be sure you get clear directions on finding the house -there are many twists and turns up a tiny road to find it.

Maison et piscine impeccables, mais hélas je ne qualifierais pas la villa de "située au calme", car une route très passante se situe un peu plus loin en contrebas et le bruit de la circulation est bien perceptible... et permanent...

Serenity at Sarlat

We are on a road trip through France and picked this house as it was close to Sarlat. The drive to the house just adds to the pleasure of staying here. Once in the house, we were happy to see bedrooms for each of us, with all the touches in the bathrooms one might need. the kitchen had all the amenities a cook might need with lots of space to work in!! Huge living room and dining room, but we spent our time outdoors on the patio. The quiet surroundings were a sanctuary from the business of travel. Would highly recommend this home...would definitely stay here again. the host was accessible and most helpful.

Fabulous house in great location

The property is exactly as pictured with everything you need for a self catering holiday. It was spotlessly clean and Emanuelle was such a lovely host. Her and her brother visited a number of times to check on the pool and keep it clean. She was very quick to respond to any queries and made check in and out very easy for us. The property is ideally placed for exploring the Dordogne and is a short walk into Sarlat itself. The hill is a little steep but it doesn't take long to walk up and we walked in and back most days. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the Dordogne.

Great house just outside the old town

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The host (Emanuelle) provided proactive updates in advance of our arrival, so we had no concerns that anything would go wrong before we arrived. The house is extremely large, and lots of space for everyone. The 4 bedrooms are located on two floors, and each has an ensuite, so lots of privacy for everyone. Although the weather was a little cool when we stayed, we were still able to use the heated pool a few times. With nicer weather, the backyard area would be great as it is private and has lots of space. The house is walking distance to the old town, and grocery stores are a short drive away to stock up. Overall, a great place to stay in Sarlat and highly recommended.

De vraies vacances

Gîte fonctionnel, tranquille. Nous avons apprécié la piscine en cette période de chaleur. Propriétaire à l’écoute, facilement joignable et pourtant discrète quand elle vient nettoyer la piscine. Centre-ville pratique d’accès à partir du parking du collège ( 10 min vieille ville).

Wonderful stay

Villa is well equipped for multiple adults with en-suite bathrooms and two bedrooms on the ground floor and two above. We travelled with our toddler, cot and high chair were provided. You need to be mobile if not hiring a car due to the hills that take you from the main road up to the villa. Lidl is right at the bottom of the hill and a really good bakery nearby (10min walk). Local buses run on time and are 4euro return - these open you up to day excursions if you don’t have a car. Sarlat train station 20min walk away as well as medieval town centre. Emmanuelle incredibly friendly and helpful for anything we needed. Great stay!

Superbe villa

Maison à louer les yeux fermés. Emmanuelle est disponible à tout moment et très serviable. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour auprès de la piscine. La région est toujours aussi belle et nous avons pu l'explorer en vélo.
