Rodothea on the Beach is a typical one bedroom greek island decorated apartment based at Monolithos area, which is just few steps from the well – known Monolithos Beach. The apartment has been tastefully furnished and decorated aiming at offering you the ultimate comfort and luxury ,always aiming at your enjoyment. The balcony itself is ideal to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or your afternoon drink whilst taking in the great sea views and views of the traditional harbour of Monolithos, Shops, restaurant and typical taverns are within close proximity and the property itself is only a short drive to the airport . A short drive further you will find Fira and Kamari with an array of shops , bars, restaurants and numerous beaches .. . In addition, a bus station is very closed to the property with a line every 60 minutes.

The apartment has a spacious open plan kitchen dining area and living room and is fully equipped with all modern appliances including all kitchen utensils, a washing machine, fridge freezer, cooker , satellite tv, dvd player, wifi internet etc .Access to the balcony is provided both from the kitchen and the bedroom . Further in you will find the tastefully furnished bedroom with a comfortable double bed, built in wardrobes and the bedroom itself offers nice sea views , so whats more inviting than waking up to the seaview .. To accommodate extra guests there is sofa bed in the living room and we can provide an additional bed if needed and also a baby travel cot can be provided on request..

Parking area is also available in the event that you do hire a car .........

Umgebung der Wohnung

Leider ist es im gegenüberliegenden Hafen zeitweise sehr laut (Autoposer und Feiern in der Hafenklause). Unweit der Wohnung befindet sich eine Raffinerie o.ä., die 24/7 durcharbeitet, eherblichen Lärm und schmutzige,übelriechende Abgase erzeugt. Je nach Windrichtung führt das zu erheblichen Beeinträchtigung der Urlaubsumgebung! Sehr nette und gute Restaurants in der nahen Umgebung und ein großer, schöner Strand!

On the water and away from the crowds

Adams on the Beach provided a comfortable and generally quiet getaway from the crowds in Fira and is a very short walk to a lovely family beach. The bedroom opens up to a lovely porch over looking a small marina and you can easily hear the waves crashing in the night. This a comfortable second floor apartment and ideal or a couple. There is room for one or two children in the living room on a sofa and futon. The bathroom is a bit tight with a tub shower. There is also a full kitchen which is fully equipped.

Cosy apartment in Monolithos

We were reaching Santorini late in the evening and needed a place close to the airport and this apartment was perfect. We hired a vehicle from the airport and it took us less than 10 minutes to reach the property. We found the apartment clean with a great view and excellent for a small family. We were right in the center of Santorini which allowed us easy travel to each end of the island. My 15-year-old daughter was slightly disappointed with the WiFi but overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Wonderful harbour apartment

This is a wonderful spot on the quiet side of the island and a gem of an apartment close to the harbour and local amenities of Monolithos. Needless to say this is a return visit to the apartment and we had an another wonderful holiday. The balcony is an idilic spot for watching the sun rise and to relax at anytime of the day. The apartment is well equipped and a great base for exploring the island. There is plenty of parking if you have a car and everywhere is within easy reach and an hourly bus service to Thira. Great location, wonderful apartment for a holiday.

Great apartment for a couple or small family

This property was a cute clean apartment with a great view and excellent for a small family. We were right in the centre of Santorini which allowed us easy travel to each end of the island .

A great location

Away from the hordes in Thira and Oie on a safe beach with a great taverna makes Adam's on the Beach a good place to stay. It's quiet at night, has a sunny balcony and plenty of room. What more could you want from a holiday apartment?

The Ouite Side Of Santorini

We loved this place. Quite and simple. Short walk to food, market and bus stop. Fab beach across the street. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

I really believe Andrea's is one of the most responsive home owners we have had the pleasure to arrange a stay. Unfortunately we did not meet him. He had a staff person meet us after we arrived. There were a few "tricks" you had to figure out that weren't outlined in the handout at the property. The TV was not easy to figure out, hot water requires inserting the key and flipping up a switch. Rozie came by twice to help us. Andreas did arrange for a car pick up at the ferry and also to the airport. We paid for the service but he was kind enough to do this. If you want a true Greek life experience away from the tourist scene in Oia or Fira, then come to Monolithos. We love the public transportation systems everywhere we travel and there is a bus stop a block away that ( as I type is 1.80 euros. It will take you to main town Fira. There are a few tavernas within walking distance of the apartment. Also great for families.

very relaxing with amazing balcony

The balcony was amazing! We never needed the AC as the ocean breeze was amazing. The market, restaurants and bus stop down the street meant no car needed (if you have time for public transport). We had everything we needed except beach towels. Rozi was so nice, we should have asked her as they may have been available. It was so nice to have fruit and wine upon arrival. The apartment was clean, with flowers everywhere! The only negatives were some patio chairs needed repair and taxi drivers had a hard time finding the apt with the information provided. (We ended up using the Monolithos Beach Memories Hotel as a pick up point for ease). Thank you for letting us stay!

Great appartment on the quiet side of Santorini

This is a gem of an appartment. Situated on the quieter side of Santorini. Very close to a small working harbour and a black sand family beach. From the spacious balcony there are fantastic view on the sea and the sunrise (if your an early riser). There is a mini-market close by and three restaurants within walking distance and further choices within a short driving distance. Our flight was late arriving and we were greeted by Roz who made us feel very welcome and helped us to settle into the appartment quickly. We had a fantastic holiday and really enjoyed the apartment. It was a great location and we saw some wonderful sunrises from the balcony.

Beautiful views, and quiet part of the island

We enjoyed this property. The view is amazing from the balcony and all rooms. Having a washing machine was also a bonus. It is situated on a quiet part of the island with a black sand beach with chairs just steps away. A mini mart and two restaurants are also just steps away and great after a tiring day of touring. Rozi was there to meet us and help us get settled. They also arranged for our pick up from the airport to the apartment which was so lovely. The only thing we wish was more comfortable is the second bed which is a futon. A pull out couch might be better. Overall we loved our stay and the hospitality was wonderful. Thank you so much

Andreas biedt goede service, regelt taxi om afgehaald te worden van het vliegveld; zorgt dat Rosi een gastvrij onthaal verzorgt en bovendien voor een gevulde koelkast zorgt. Tot slot: wat is er mooier dan vanuit je huis de zee in te lopen?

What a wonderful host, area! They made arrangements for transportation from the port to the apt., greeted us with fruit, wine, instructions and were very cordial. Beautiful, quiet spot on Santorini!

Clean unit with wonderful view

We chose to stay in Monolithos because we wanted to be near the water. This turned out to be a wonderful decision. We were travelling with our two small kids (a two year old and two month old) and Monolithos beach was shallow and perfect for kids and super close to the unit. The unit was clean and had all necessary amenities complete with a huge balcony with gorgeous views! We were greeted upon arrival with some fruit and a bottle of wine. I would say that a rental car is pretty much a must in Santorini, especially when staying down at Monolithos since you're away from the hustle and bustle of the other towns. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Adams on the beach and stay here again.

They took complete care of us and even had a cab waiting in the middle of morning for us at airport If you want to relax right next to the ocean with the sound of the waves and smell of the ocean it's a great place!!!

Appartement très agréable avec vue sur la mer, logement propre et confortable; Merci pour l'accueil très chaleureux à notre arrivé. Du balcon: en face le petit port, à droite une petite plage de sable fin calme avec transats deux tavernes et une Pizzéria, nous avons particulièrement très apprécié la taverne SKARAMAGKAS. A ne pas manquer le lever du soleil: magnifique.... Seul petit petit bémol l'avion de 6H40 qui réveillent les personnes sensibles au bruit. Super séjour. merci

Easy access from airport, perfectly located with sea view and Clean!!

For a start great communication from the time of booking, prompt replies to emails and messages (Homeaway app), directions to the property was sent over an email prior to journey and when arrived we are welcomed with a clean & well maintained property (oh! thanks for free bottle of wine :) and fruit in the fridge).... Location is perfect as it's next to the beach for a morning dip or as simple as having a drink sitting in the balcony with sea view. Overall a great time in Santorini, cheers.

Lovely apartment with fab view in peaceful typically Greek location

The property was as described ,a real home form home every thing you needed for a self catering stay, the owner Andreas kept in touch before ,during and after with offers of help and advice, all very welcome. Great welcome back including wine, tea coffee etc to set us up and met by Rozi the housekeeper who explained and showed us around despite arriving past 10 pm as plane delayed at Gatwick.The apartment was exceptionally clean and well looked after. The view is truly lovely overlooking the little harbour and the sparkling Agean with looks of brochures etc to help you get around the lsland. Wifi very good and fast, aircon in bedroom very good, shutters on bedroom doors kept it dark so we slept very well on the large comfy bed. Plenty of hot water bathroom a little cramped but a bonus to have a washing machine and hair dryer all provided along with cleaning stuff so you can wash your dishes cups etc
