Relaxing Beach Stay
We enjoyed our stay. It was an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. The carriage house was perfect for a couple. It was cozy with cute furnishings. The location was great.

Very cute and close to beach
Super cute and close to beach. It’s small but good for 2. Negatives are they had 3 glasses, dryer doesn’t work, bed isn’t comfortable and a/c takes forever to cool off. They also only give 4 bath towels ( I asked for more and they did bring me a ton 😍) This is our 2nd time to stay. I assumed some stuff may of been fixed or updated since no one had said it in a review. I always leave positive reviews or none. But if you pay this price it should be fixed in my opinion .

Cute tiny home near the beach
We stayed here for our honeymoon. It was near the beach and had all we needed. We were only there for a long weekend. If you are staying longer, the kitchen did not have alot of cooking utensils/pots/pans. But plenty of restaurants nearby to eat out and a cute market in town. We rented bikes to get around instead of renting a car. Private beach area. Very nice stay overall.

Turkish Delight
The location is very very good BUT the house is extremely tiny, and air does not flow upstairs at all. The house was filthy, blinds, TV, bed, chairs covered in dust. There was also sand under the bed and table, and 2 of the towels were dirty. The pictures make this place look bigger then it is, and I mistakenly thought the wrong house pictures were listed on VRBO!!! The wide angle of the pics that make it look better than it is, but my fault for not reading prior reviews. Your clothes cannot be put or hung up, so they have to stay in your suitcase and the bed and pillows are very uncomfortable. The washer/dryer all in one unit takes A LONG TIME to wash and dry. Hours actually...so bring towels. I stay at Seaside every summer, and have rented many places on VRBO never posting a negative review, but in my opinion this cottage is not worth the money/ fees, as their are so many other places available. We arrived very late due to delays, but I was able to get through to Best Beach Getaways when they opened the next morning, and they sent a cleaning crew in immediately. I dealt with Erica, who was super helpful and she did try to help us find another rental, but none were available. She was in constant communication, even providing her cell phone, and I felt she truly tried her best to remedy the house issues within her limitations.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy seaside guest house. for what we needed was a good size. Be aware if you need to do any laundry the dual wash dyer takes hours to wash and dry . 6 to be exact for 4 towels. Owner may need to address mold in the shower area. And even though only two of stayed there having only two forks and two spoons was a little inconvenience. Also if you bring hang up clothes there is not a closet so have to use two hooks in bedroom just be prepared to live out of suit case. Love seaside town and less than 2 min walk to beach. We loved our visit.

Seaside 2022
Property was clean and easy to access and in a beautiful part of the neighborhood. It was about three blocks to walk to the main square at Seaside. There is private beach access as well which was nice. My husband and I overall enjoyed our stay. Main floor has a small seating area and small kitchen nook. There are winding stairs to take you to the upstairs loft area which has a bathroom and bed. The upstairs area does get warm compared to the downstairs area. The fan upstairs does not have a very high speed either. And the bed is more stiff than we prefer. But overall for a quick stay that’s close to seaside we would stay here again! Thanks for all your help!

Noise
Unfortunately the tree limbs haven’t been trimmed in a very long time, they hung over the metal roof and make the worst screeching sound all day and night. I spoke with the management but they didn’t fix the problem. The noise kept us from sleeping at all it was awful! They could have cared less that we were unable to rest and enjoy our stay.

Perfect little getaway
The house was very close to the beach access, which made getting to the beach with our items a breeze. It was the perfect amount of space for my husband and I, and we would definitely come back for another stay!

I normally would just would just write all the positives, but I never heard back after sending this
First off the location was wonderful. The place is super cute. Some things needed attention the first night the upstairs was super hot, the fan wouldn’t get off slow mode. The air was looked on 68, it was 68 downstairs but not upstairs. The coffee pot was broken. So day one & two repairmen were in and out. The next morning a repairman let himself in while I was in the shower. Not Okay! Can you imagine if I was a younger girl there. This is Not Okay. Also the bed needs some help, super hard and needs new pillows. We went and bought new pillows & a fan. I would if brought from home if I knew. Lastly give a warning about the 4hr a load for that washer/dryer combo you have. Tell guest to bring multiple beach towels since none are provided and you can rewash daily because it takes to long. We were so excited to come on a couples get away, we weren’t expecting this. This wasn’t worth the money spent. Thank you, Amy

Great Location
The house was in a perfect location, convenient to everything in Seaside. The bed definitely needs to be addressed, small and uncomfortable. The other issue is that most of the beaches in Seaside are private beaches. The public beaches are small crowded sections. Seems as if they are trying to push out tourist. Nice to visit, but will head to Destin, Fort Walton or Panama City next time

Loved It
This is a great place to stay as a solo traveler. Adorable cottage with the perfect amount of indoor and outdoor space. 1 block from the beach and 3 blocks from the town center. Easy parking for 1 car in the drive way. The stairs to the bedroom were fine for me, but I could see how a less agile person may struggle. My only difficulty was finding the door when arriving in the dark. You have to walk through the yard to get to the back door that allows you to let yourself in. Other than that, I had a smooth process! Definitely recommended.

Property just perfect! However I will never rent from Best Beach Getaways again.
I enjoyed the property. If I were the owner I would find a different property management group. I was able to get in early which I appreciated. Though had a difficult time with the door didn’t know to turn the knob which were not in instructions. Refrigerator door would not close on day one. Called to get it repaired. Never got a call. Thursday contacted Manager left message. Friday am called manager and was yelled at telling me he had nothing to do with repairs. He did get my message and had turned in another repair order. The order was turned in on Wednesday. It finally was repaired Thursday at 3:00 pm. My food purchased on Wednesday all went to waste I never once received a call of I’m sorry for your inconvenience we will reimburse you etc. Absolutely nothing. I will never rent any property that is managed by Best Beach Getaway again. Owner all your air filters are nasty. I could see them in the floor and you have light bulbs out. Your management property does not take care of your unit. A-shame your property is perfect!

The property is cute but the upstairs bedroom and bathroom are up a narrow winding staircase with no railings. The kitchen light didn’t work and the faucet in the bathroom vanity was so loose we had to hold it with both hands to turn it on. Maintenance new the problem but never showed up.

The location was amazing! Just blocks from the main square in Seaside. House is very small.. and fan upstairs only works on low and minimal air movement. I messaged the company twice with questions and no response at all. The stay was ok.. but communication could have been better.

Disappointed
When I walked in I thought I was in the good Will. The furniture upstairs was falling apart, the light in the bathrooms was a bulb screwed in a fixture. Towels were worn out. Roach on ceiling and no clock in the entire unit. No tv in bedroom. Shears were worn out and falling off the doors.Over all not worth the money!!!! So many other nice places pictures were deceiving!!!

We loved our stay. Location perfect! Easy stroll to the beach and the shops of Seaside. There was construction to the deck going on at the main house in front of us and the workers started working with loud heavy tools before 8 am which would awaken us. This might bother some who like to sleep in during vaca. I had trouble getting in touch with Best Beach Getaways in the weeks before arrival through phone and email and that was frustrating when I needed some answers about the place but it was a lovely vacation, regardless! Cute cottage in wrest location
Location absolutely wonderful for easy access to beach and downtown Seaside in few minutes walk, no bike needed! Used mine for fun only. Cottage is cute with few quirks but would recommend for couple.

Great property for a couple, except A/C
This is a fantastic place, great spot working walking distance of Seaside downtown. The only issue we had was the thermostat was downstairs and didn’t seem to be reading properly. This left the bedroom very warm since the thermostat is locked to go no lower than 68. Also the fan in the master was remote only with no pull chain or direction switch. The remote apparently had been lost prior to our arrival. The fan was turning the wrong direction and stuck on low. As a result of this our first night there was miserably hot. Thankfully the last two nights after a storm came through the temperatures dropped significantly and we could open the windows for some cool air. I contacted the property manager after the first night about the fan and never heard back. I would however highly recommend this property if they take care of these two issues.

Amazing location!

Has Great Potential BUT . . .
The Turkish Delight is in a great location, just steps from the center of Seaside and the beach. Yet, there are so many things that could easily improve the guests' stay in this cottage. First, in today's world, there is no reason for the cottage to not have WiFi. Also as many guests have commented, a TV could easily be added downstairs and make a huge difference. The beautiful bay window is a perfect space for a comfy reading chair or small sofa; the antique straight back dining room chair is a joke and not functional in the space. It was really not fun to have to curl up in bed to watch TV or to read a book (A Sandy Bed Is Not Fun). There is also plenty of space for some appropriate nightstands to add storage and drawers for storage. Without a closet and a very simple TV stand with two drawers; there is simply NO space to put your things (it is also not fun to live out of a suitcase for a few days). This cottage could be so much better with the owners being more intentional and purposeful about how to make the cottage more welcoming and functional for their guest. We have stayed in the Seaside area and surrounding area multiple times per year for over 10-years and other places are much more accommodating for their guests. Lastly, as previously committed, I was less than pleased with Best Beach Getaway as managers. We were not provided with a beach pavilion access code in the check-in paperwork (the bathroom code is provided but this code does not access the beach gate).. I called three different phone numbers, left three different voicemails, and never heard back from anyone. After standing at the beach gate for over an hour, I finally got someone at the management office to answer and give me the code. Keep in mind the beach pavilion access changes weekly, so have a plan to get the code before you arrive - don't count on anyone helping you out at the management office. Unfortunately, based on previous comments, this is not the first time that Best Beach Getaways has not been responsive to their guests. If you are looking for a place that is convenient to the beach and Seaside, then this cottage is great. Yet, be prepared for a not so cozy, welcoming environment​ or management staff.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. However, this isn't entirely accurate. We did send check-in information prior to arrival that included the pavilion code and it also clearly states that the unit does not have wifi and it is also in the description prior to booking. We returned the call within an hour with the pavilion codes. We also let the party stay in the unit even though they brought twice as many as they stated in the reservation and more than the home occupies.

Wedding planning getaway to Turkish Delight
This property exceeded my expectations, such a cute little getaway with privacy, and we found it immaculately clean. The down side was a property manager that was unresponsive, and then incredibly ugly and flat out rude when we did speak. I received the first email from them with check in time and map location, but it did not contain the attachment with the full check in instructions and codes to the beach access, etc.. She actually yelled at me stating she sent the email, and when she did give me the code it was wrong, then had to call the property company again. It was day 3 of the trip before we had working beach access codes. Regardless of if the email was sent or not, I did not receive it and there was zero reason to get excited and nasty, as I was only asking for direction and that is the property company’s job although she did not seem to think so, she made it very clear she was annoyed and that she had other things to do. Rudeness and elevated voices are never ok in guest services. I would not recommend renting from anyone that uses Best Beach Getaways for management. I did report this individual to the company and the response was “ she is usually a very nice person”, unacceptable to be yelled at when asking for help with simple issues. Best, Drs. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE CONSTUCTION ZONE!
NOISY Construction zone & no compensation NOISY Construction zone and no offer to make it better! At 8:05 on the first morning we were awoken by sounds of a circular saw, generator, hammering and wood clacking 25 ft outside our bedroom window. When we went back to our room for a nice afternoon nap that was impossible with the level of noise. It was very unpleasant in our room, having to speak loudly to hear each other. I called the management company and told her location was under construction and asked if she knew if it was going to continue and if we could move to another property as the atmosphere did NOT make for a relaxing vacation. She said she could not move us to another property, it would be difficult on OWNER. Later that day she called back and said she had tracked down and talked with construction crew and they were done with the work and would not be back the next day, Thurs. April 25. Yet, at 8 am on Thurs, the saws and hammers were going again. I called the management company two times on Thurs and got no response. Friday morning comes and the construction is back on and in addition - the main house, OWNERS home, started their construction work that morning as well. So we had saws, generators, hammers, boards going all three days of our stay and now on both sides of the rental house. I called the property management company twice more on Fri asking for some amount of construction discount. She NEVER called back! Conclusions: 1) Property management company, Ericka at Best Beach Getaways, lied to us about when construction would be complete 2) Property management company, Ericka at Best Beach Getaways, did nothing to assist us with relocation or requesting a discounted rate or waiving the cleaning fee, etc (especially after the home we were renting from started construction as well on Friday.) 3) The property management company, Erika, Best Beach Getaways had no concern for the quality of our stay or helping us reach a resolution or even offering us a bottle of wine, etc. NOTHING!. She simply ignored the situation, hoping it would go away. Overall, it was a very disappointing vacation. We went there to relax and it was impossible to be in our rental property, that we paid good money for, and relax. VRBO currently refusing to reimburse us. Owners said no to any reimbursement as well. To top it off bed was hard and pillows like flat boards.

Thank you for your review but it is not accurate. There was construction 4 streets over and it was completed on the same day it started. We spoke to the guest in the house next door to this and they could not hear the construction at all. We were in constant communication with this guest.
